Everyone else mentioned on wiki as first team squad at Stoke, Sunderland and Spurs is accounted for on the list. So it's reserves/youths only.
Sunderland tried to get Davies in last week for £1m - it was rejected. Why even post that he might be available for a loan?
Yes, it's a strange claim that though. We're either not losing much this year or I'm baffled because I don't see where the significant changes in our income and expenses between this season and next. Collecting parachute payments and paying off debts secured against them, and selling the season tickets that we'd presold shouldn't affect Profit and Loss much because paying the debts is a balance sheet entry not a trading one. We've only really got Kilbane, Harper, and Adebola out of contract that are on decent money to do nothing (ie Atkinson will be on relative peanuts). Dawson is obviously out of contract as well, but either he'll sign a new deal or somebody will need signing to replace him so we won't save much, same with Basso and the other first team squad affected.
Thats it then. Get Turner back on loan and play him up front. Problem solved. By its easy this aint it ?
Nonsense. ^^^^^^^,,,, but also..... DQPR for starters are overloaded with strikers. 11 of them now and Mark Hughes has said that some of them can go. Hulse - DJ Campbell - Bothroyd and maybe Mackie could be taken on loan as they wont get much play time now that Zamora and Cisse are the first choices there. But NB will have somebody in mind but can he get him ? The promotion race is hotting up unlike the whether. lol.
Where are you getting that they have 11 strikers from? For starters you can remove Mackie from your list, he's their first choice left winger even when they play 442. He's played every single minute under Hughes.
how many of anichebes appearances are from off the bench. thought the lad on loan at wycombe from fulham looked pretty decent worth a loan trotta
I'm confused - just looked at Arsenals squad of 25 and Mannone is included and as a home grown player?
I think if they join at a certain age and are here for the requisite amount of years then they qualify as home grown.
It's definitely the up to date list. I think it confirms what I was saying earlier about not being allowed to leave players on your books out if there's a space for them. And he's homegrown because of how young he was when he signed for them. If you are with a club in this country for 3 years before your 21st birthday, or for 3 seasons by the end of the season in which you turn 21 then you count as homegrown.
I find it amusing that Owen Hargreaves is not homegrown. Which leads on to the question: Could we have an England XI made up of non-homegrown players (I'm sure the cricket team could)?
personally, i think Davies or Ebanks-Blake would be perfect signings, davies has experience and Ebanks-Blake is a proven striker in the championship
Trotta would be alright, scored 8 in 8 games for Wycombe and they're only a league below us. Might be worth a go if we continue to struggle up front.
