For me Chelsea is a good team but something is not quite right. It may have something to do with not playing Drogba (who has always been a handful) and persisting in Torres (who has to be the biggest waste of money ever)! The team looks unbalanced. However I don’t care about them and it was a pleasure seeing all their muppet faces after the game, all quiet (ssshh) and not as smug as they were before. Their fans gave it large about taking over the ground when sadly they didn’t even take over a bus. Chelsea have always been a load of ‘big heads’, sadly they are not a ManU or have the class as an Arsenal. For me they just another ‘middle of the road’ club that a Russian has thrown money into. They don’t have the history of the real big boys. Saying all this I find it quite refreshing listening to AVB as he doesn’t seem like the usual puppet manager they put in and has the ‘Jose’ thing about him. I was impressed when he went up to Scotland and actually knew where the place was and understood the football there.
Something hasn't been right at Chelsea since Wilkins was axed, at that time they had stormed clear at the top and were scoring for fun. Almost overnight they seemed to lose whatever it was that had them playing so well and they've never recovered. Arse Boils has come in and tried to make his mark , particularly regarding Lampard, but you get the feeling the players are divided into cliques and he'll never be big enough to sort that out. But then again, who cares?...
Poor Mans Mourinhio. Half the class, half the ability and half way on his return ticket to Portugal. Enjoy the Algarve summer sun AVB because you won't be involved in pre-season training in the UK.
