Has anyone been in Mustafa's recently. To be honest i didnt even know it was still open. The mrs suggested it for a retro night out. Meal in there then go in Cheese, Masters Bar etc. Last time i went in there i was wearing Kouros aftershave.
I go in Mustafa's ahead of the odd game and on the odd lunchtime and it's just as good a meal as it always was, well worth a visit.
I've never been in the place but I've heard the nose bag is top notch. You could go in 'Lair' if you really want to treat her indoors followed by a swift one in Horners. Flash bastard.
Quorum. I think that's how you spell it. That was my Romeos love tonic. Many a grope was gained in the 'tunnel' thanks to that stuff. If you believe that you'll believe anything.
Anyway we are going to go in White Horse, Cheese, no Bass house sadly, and Masters Bar and any others that are left. Does anyone remember in Masters Bar there was an old bloke always in there day or night. He had a couple of fingers missing on each hand. Doubt he is still around but. be a nice bit of nostalgia.
No White Hoss?? Star of the West gone. Shire Horse gone. Yates is boarded up too i think. Is Sandringham still there? What about Trogg Bar?
Only battle cruisers open on George Street are Sharkeys and Dram Shop. Even Room has shut down I think.
Sandringham has just reopened with new owners, and as I walked by earlier today I noticed it's 'Ladies Night' there soon. Topless men behind the bar. One was amused.
Good to see they are at least attempting to go a bit more up market in that part of town. I think there are plans to build a Hilton hotel on the site of the old Eclipse/Heaven & Hell club. Interesting to see how that would change the dynamic of the area.
This isnt what I want to hear, coming over for the Bristol game next week followed by a piss up around town.... I already have the Tunnel bar marked out but where else is worth a look in the town centre ? any ideas welcome ta (I already know about indie bars for later thanks to help on here)
