http://www.ealinggazette.co.uk/spor...s-derailed-by-qpr-villas-boas-64767-30263903/ QPR FANS will no doubt delight in the admission, given the bitterness of the rivalry: Andre Villas-Boas has admitted the October defeat at QPR was the beginning of the end of Chelsea's title bid. Rangers fans will dine out on that 1-0 win for years, although the famous victory against a Blues side reduced to nine men ended acrimoniously, with claims of racial abuse by John Terry. The Chelsea boss is in no doubt that the defeat was decisive and that his team have regressed since the heady opening days of the season before that game at Loftus Road. "If I had to recall what has happened this season, I would always reflect on the tipping point being the QPR game," Villas-Boas said. "From a position where we could end up second, three points behind the leader, we ended up six points behind the leader, with too much controversy involved. "What we [anticipated] to be a three point game became a nine point gap after the Arsenal game. "I think it was dramatic because we really [expected] to win that game and in normal conditions, we would have won. Abnormal conditions were created in that game and we couldn't win it." Villas-Boas added: "Are we a better team than in September? No, not really. The beginning of the season were our best results. We were solid, creative, positive. "At this level, you shouldn't be allowed a transitional year, but the project for next year is good and is being built and we believe a lot in it, so we will be able to compete at a different level [next year]."
What a bloody shame! Who was it that said before the game?..... '' Who are QPR? They mean nothing to us. We don't class this game as a derby. ''
Cheer up Villas-Boas, Oh what can it mean, To a cheating scummy bastard, And a **** football team! COYR's
Images speak louder than words they say It made my season, put it that way Now go get those 19 points lads so I don't have to face a backlash to this.
I'd hate it, simply hate it...If Abramovich pulled out of Chelshit and left them to flounder. I'd hate to see them become a Leeds.
Hopefully we can end their dreams of a top four spot when we meet them at SB. **** team really, for all the money that has been poured into the club.
Sorry guys, didn't see this thread so I posted the same. Brix can you either delete or merge. Cheers dude.
For AVB And now, the end is near, and soon you will face, your final curtain.................................................... U Rrrrssssssss
"I think it was dramatic because we really [expected] to win that game and in normal conditions, we would have won. Abnormal conditions were created in that game and we couldn't win it." What abnormal conditions? The fact that they lost! This **** is a real ****ish ****y ****!
Just like Manure after our 4-1 win at Old Trafford all those years ago! They capitulated that season and Leeds won the title (but not before we'd thrashed them at LR )
They just turned up and expected 3 points, their arrogance cost them any hope in the league. Maybe he was referring to us fans creating and "abnormal condition" on their players causing them to lose it. Everyone was talking about how their players had lost it, Terry confronting everyone, Drogbas tackle, surrounding the ref, it was a joy to watch, they just couldnt believe it.
This is probably the best and most accurate description of AVB I have ever seen, like it, I just thought he was a ****ing ****!!
