Well they think they are great. But at the end of the day, the keeper is ****e, defence exteremly dodgy without King, who's knee is dodgy. The midfield is allright and the forward line-up is allright as well. LFC are world class in all positions.
Are you trying to provoke a response with this lunacy? To be fair you did make 3 correct statements: We do think we are great. King's knee is dodgy. Our forward line up is allright. Don't know where you conjured the rest of that drivel from though.
I did my part on the voting, which by the way is the closest I have seen in a long time. Sucks to have to wait until Monday BUT that means it is on ESPN and Macca the great will be commentating on the game, he is usually a good luck charm for us!!
Technically not cockney´s but see where your coming from. Really unsure about this one, normally i´d apprehensive about a team that stuffed us badly, but to be fair skrtel is not a right back so that along with the man sent off flattered the scoreline, so on that basis i´d say this ones 50/50. I fully expect Utd to beat Chelsea, who are pretty gash at the moment anyway let alone without Terry & Ashley Cole, who would be facing the premiership´s form winger in valencia. So i´d actually be happy with 1 point, anymore is a fantastic bonus. Just a pity we gotta wait till Monday but that´ll help us recover from our recent busy schedule.
Thanks for the article, Chris. Good read Ignoring the bait that was left for the Spurs fans, I think it will be a good game and I think a win would be a big result for either side, with the obvious increased importance depending on the result of the Chelsea/Man United game. Defoe and Lennon are likely to be out but I think Walker, Ade and VDV should be back although we might only end up with 2 of them. I'd expect the lineup to be: Friedel Walker, Kaboul, King, Benny Bale, Parker, Modric, Kranjcar VDV, Ade If Walker's out Kaboul will probably get moved to right back and Dawson will come in, although Livermore can fill in there too. If VDV's out we'll probably bring in Sandro and play Kanjcar, Bale and Modric as a three behind Adebayor and if Ade's out then Saha will be in and Lancaster will presumably be on the bench again. Eitherway it's a strong team but without Lennon and having Niko and Bale cutting inside we might lack some width with our fullbacks having to overlap to provide it. Both teams are good on the counter so I think it might be a fairly slow first half with neither over commiting in the opposition half and protecting their own defensive 3rd so it'll be up to our respective front 3/4 to provide something special to break the other team down. Anyway, gun to my head I'd go 2-1 Spurs.
Great thread as always Chris. Should be a good game. Gerrard and Suarez will be key for us and keeping tabs on Bale will be important. Enrique will deal with him if he goes right but a bit worried about the left, the center backs will need to sweep up.
I would expect us to play Kuyt in order to double up on Bale if he's on form. Despite his apparently favourable defensive stats I think Johnno gets caught upfield quite a bit. I hate it when the CB gets pulled out to the wing because sometimes the centre midfield can be a bit slow in getting back to cover.

robinson's back in training? I can sort of excuse suarez for being a south american.. isn't that what evra called him?..... but aurelio's gear is OTT... I eman look at 90% of our lads wearing shorts like proper reds... andy carroll is a strange geordie, i'd have thought he'd trained only in skins to be honest... even pepe with his bald pate has no hat on...
Interesting that from the Spurs fan. Doesn't like Harry - agreed. Of our players he likes Lucas. Just shows how far he has come!
I think that the biggest selection problem for us is whether to use Suarez or Carroll as the lone striker. I would lean towards Suarez simply because I would want Gerrard playing in the hole to sit on Parker and limit his ability to initiate Spurs' attack - it's what Rafa used to do first with Luis Garcia and then Gerrard against Makalele. I'm pretty sure that Kuyt will play on the right. Do we reckon Bellamy will start on the left or will he be rested?
Cant stand LFC...nothing,personal....but i never understand the number of Londoners who supported Liverpool when I was at svhool in the 70s and 80s. Theyd come up with great reasons like 'my mum bought a beatles record' or 'my dad likes the liverbirds'. Anyway for what its worth i think our luck and good form against you has to end soon so I reckon 3-1 to you....and my hatred while grow ever more bitter!
i've voted for a liverpool win (naturally), but it'll be touch and go. spurs are an excent team and we'll need to be at our very best. i think kelly should start with kyut in front to slow bale down a bit and suarez up top to add a bit of trickery. spearing, gerrard and downing with kyut in the middle and carroll/bellamy up top with suarez here's hoping for the win
still no clue.... I can't be confident of formation 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 and can only say that about 7 players will be i nthe team. Reina jonhson skertl agger enrique Kuyt Gerrard after that, suarez, carroll, downing, adam, spearing, bellamy might all play or not.
