    http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/new...protest-at-Blackburn-match-article860647.html

One supporters’ group is urging their fellow Gooners to put black bin liners over empty red seats at the Emirates during Saturday's match against Blackburn to highlight falling attendances. Full news story in Daily Mirror.

So is this the start of some major protest over Arsenal's continued poor performance or is this the Daily Mirror just being over the top?

Fans who consider doing this should be shot at dawn in my opinion. They add nothing but poison, stir up **** and do nothing to help our team and manager.

btw - how many times have you ever been to watch us play - Arsenal87 ?

One of the most voiciferous advocates of the bin bag protest is posting on Twitter. His website is registered in Pakistan and apparently he remembers the days of Terry O'Neil

<ok> It will just makes things a lot worse. Save the criticism for here if they must. Fans at the stadium are there to support the players and manager imo.

In my opinon, Utd fans had a genuine issue with the Glazers.

Those with a binbag should place it over their heads- that way they would stay in the dark, while the rest of us try to encourage improvement.

I think that's a pragmatic solution <ok> their short lived protest would run out of life pretty quickly.....

    - and we could have a large sticker 'Pillock' we could put on the binbag when they wear it.

I bet nothing actually happens on saturday. This is just embarrassing to be honest, I don't even have a problem with the board.

Any binbags that go on seats will be promptly ripped off again by another fan, I reckon.

You'll have to wear your bin bag at home then.

My protesting is done by having an extra beer of an evening to drown my sorrows.

Then I'm back on here supporting the team and manager as hard as I can (hic).
