Subs: Cech (seen him do a number of Gomes-esque errors), Gilberto (worst left back of all time for us?), Squillaci, Shevchenko, Rebrov, Wilshere (so over-hyped it's unreal, Guardiola was right when saying he has better in the Barca academy!), Walcott

Reserve: Downing, Hargreaves, Robinho,

 

If you are putting gooner strickers on the bench, it would be Berkamp over Wright! I also genuinely think Bale is a better player than Giggs. Don't get me wrong, Giggs is top notch, but mostly for his consistency over hundreds of years. If we are picking a team for a one-off, then Bale hits heights that Giggs couldn't IMHO. <duck>

 

Bergkamp was great to watch for his technique but Wright got the goals. I prefer a natural goal scorer to a "number 10".

Bale will be in that starting XI within 2 years.

For Man Utd's sake you should hope that's all he plays too.



I did have Rebrov on the subs bench. Luiz is a great shout though.

My starting lineup exactly--except put in King or maybe Ferdinand for Hyypia.

I actually DID, but now don't, rate Terry. Not quite as good as either Ferdinand or Vidic, but worth a bench spot. Don't feel I know enough to pick the subs very well. Of players I've seen, Terry, Gerrard, Cech, Drogba, Shearer and Beckham from what I gather, and Bale because he'll be starting soon.
