True, but if he is found guilty after the Euros it would have a bad impact on the England team's reputation. The court case should have gone ahead before the competition, delaying it until after the Euros is bad for everyone involved.

Yes Comm , one of the quality papers says that the maximum fine the courts can hand out for this offence is £2500. There's more than that down the back of his couch. Lawyers should do well out of it though
