I doubt he'd be available. He's only just come back from injury and has appeared in 2 games in Jan scoring in 1 of those I think. Plus Everton are light on forwards

15 goals in 127 games! I'd hardly call that scoring goals!! To put it in perspective, Michael Turner scored 12 goals in 129 games for City. He's basically got the scoring ratio of a centre half!

Better scoring ratio than our centre halves.

Barmby's got to be thinking about Kevin Davies on loan if you ask me.

Well first of all you have to look at who each Premiership club has nominated in their squad of 25.

    Any of:

Jon Parkin (Cardiff) - if his loan deal expires before the window shuts.
    Will Keane (Man U)
    Sylvan Ebanks Blake (Wolves)
    Lucas Piazon (Chelsea)

Well Davies is in the Bolton squad, they're one of the few with a full 25.

    http://www.premierleague.com/conten...ons/squad-lists/squad-lists-february-2012.pdf

QPR have players over the top of their 25, but have named every striker on their books except for Agyemang. The other ones left out are Connolly (loaned to Reading), Faurlin and Dyer (injured), Perone, and Ephraim (there might be a couple of others, none worth looking at though)

I doubt it's worth checking, but do Arsenal have any foreign players players born in the 70s or 80s that aren't on this list? - they don't have a full 25, but only have 5 homegrown players so their maximum squad size is reduced to 22.

Stoke have a full 25, as do Sunderland, Tottenham, and of course Bolton.

As far as I know you're not allowed to leave spaces if you have players to fill them, so the other clubs won't have any unregistered players, so if someone else can be bothered to look for any omissions from the lists I've narrowed the search down to 5 clubs for you.

He is indeed, but that raises the question, how come he's been able to play for three clubs this season?

Emergency loans don't count towards your clubs.

If he was available that'd be an amazing signing. Perfect for what we need.

I'd be interested to see a list of who hasn't made the squads.

For Bolton, the only player that appears to be missing is Ricardo Gardner, who is a week or two away from being fit.

See my post above. The link in there takes you to a pdf file on the PL website that includes all the 25 man squads and a full list of all the U21s that don't need to be named (eg Macheda at QPR)

There might be players at Tottenham, Arsenal (would be foreigners), Stoke, Sunderland, or Bolton. There are players at QPR but they're all crap, injured, or already loaned out. Oh wait, there might be Ramage who McShane replaced at Palace, nothing special but he could do us cover for right back and centre back.

He's in the 25, and started their game against Villa the other night.

    @ OLM

I'm sure you mentioned something the other day about a potential loan signing available to us that NB was considering, and you thought he should definitely bring the player in. I guess it's a secret but you couldn't give us a clue could you? ;)

Kieron Dyer - injured (surprise, surprise)
Alejandro Faurlín - injured for the season
    Bruno Perone - ****
Patrick Agyemang - I'd rather bet my mortgage on McLean scoring with his next 10 shots
Hogan Ephraim - would be cover for our 3 attacking midfielders and no more
Danny ****tu - hardly fits with being a footballing side
    Lee Cook - Dodgy knee
    Gary Borrowdale - Left back
Rowan Vine - he can play the role we need, just not very well, if we left Roberts to go to Reading so we could sign him I'd despair at the management because he's now on £25k/wk so the cost would have been about the same (same situation as Roberts was in at Blackburn)

Peter Ramage - could cover right back and centre back. Worth asking them.
