He's just a twat, and he should never play for his country again. Money can't buy you class, his family are a set of sheisters.
Although scheister is a great word, I'd be more inclined to say his family are convicted theives and drug dealers
Chelsea have a lot of black players too, but I don't know if they support him or not? ps how do you do the multi-quote thingy on a post??
Will they be more or less upset than the ****s? It's an interesting court case where being a ****'s not in dispute but having his skin colour revealed is. Although believe it or not, I never realised Rio Ferdinand was actually or thought himself as black until he was introduced as the black players rep.
What a joke this decision is. There's many problems that goes with this decision- Ferdinand won't want to play with him (as someone said above) & if England do well there will be pressure on the trial and over enthuiastic fans will get annoyed if he's found guilty. No doubt come the time of the tournament the tabloids will be pestering the team and all over the camp like flies on ****. You've seen it before with England (ie 2006 with the WAGs) when the players have something on their minds, it'll be detrimental & it'll take their attentions off the matches. All this means England will probably be coming home early. It's not just him, the whole team needs an overhaul.
If he'd just called him black, it wouldn't be a racial slur, so having called him a 'black ****', it's actually the '****' part that is the slur. Unless he actually did call him a 'blackcurrant', in which case it's a fruitist slur and that might well be why he's going bananas.
Personally I think they're a pear of idiots. I mean how far does a man go to prove he isn't a fruitist? It just doesn't fig ure. I bet Terry is sat there right now feeling sub lime even though it is a bit chilli.
Unless he was just calling him a ****, and was using the black part to differentiate him from the other ****s in the QPR team so that Ferdinand knew he was talking to him. Take the West Ham game as an example, I was expressing my unease with the conduct of Faubert and got his attention by calling him "you French cheating ****". The French part wasn't used as a slur, it was used so that Bouba "I've fallen over so give me a freekick again" Diop and others knew on that occassion I wasn't letting off steam at them. Either way though, I wouldn't want to be Anton Ferdinand next summer. When England don't win the tournament it's "all his fault", and if Terry then got found not guilty as well there'd be more than a couple of morons willing to make an issue of the situation.
I could have used Faubert if at the time I hadn't had a memory blank on his name (he was facing our way before you say it's on his shirt). As it was all I could remember was that he'd been given stick for his cheating the last time we played them, and it was just after the Thierry Henry handball against Ireland so I knew he was French and that he was cheating. I am just being argumentative, because there's no way that's what Terry was doing. But if it was you wouldn't use white in front because it's the description of the majority so it doesn't differentiate, you'd choose something else. If you're trying to pick someone out of the crowd at City you wouldn't say "you in the home shirt" if it was someone wearing a home shirt (unless it was this year's ), but you might say "you in the away shirt" if they were in the away shirt because there's less room for confusion.
The irony is, that you could insult someone quite severely buy just calling them a 'Faubert' and you'd get in no trouble at all. Peachy.
This is what annoys me, I don't really have an opinion on this whole Terry thing, the modern obsession with race is something that has never concerned me, if anything it bores me hearing everyone going on about it. But the England team are always under massive media pressure over some stupid non-football related thing. It's always cheating on wives, shagging hookers, being druggies or now racism. For ****'s sake when will the England team be famous for playing football again? I read something a while ago (can't remember the full details) about the Brazil striker Adriano (who was a top player 4 or 5 years ago) being part of some sick crime involving another less famous player's girlfriend being killed, cut up and fed to rottweilers. I couldn't help but notice that he was still famous first and foremost for playing football and I think he was still playing for Brazil at the time. I'm not saying I think it's right but this guy did something much worse than anything the England players have been accused of, but he was still just treat as a good footballer and nothing else. Every time England have a major tournament coming up all we are fed by the media is all this crap about their personal lives. I really don't give a **** about any of it.
They might not be but Smalling and Jones could be, Terry isn't the player he was and if he doesnt make the squad we won't be any worse off for it now, he can do a job at Prem level still
John Terry consistently proves himself to be a ****. Jones, Smalling and Richards are all better options at centre back, so lets just get rid for good this time.
I'm not really old enough to remember either pairing in their prime, but it is a surprise that the defensive pairing that was winning the league titles at the time wasn't even given a shot in friendlies. I suppose with Arsenal having an entire back 5 that was English it was alway going to be hard for them to break that unit up, but then it strengthens the argument for testing other players in friendlies, it's not like they needed the game time to learn how to play alongside each other.
In my opinion he should never have gotten the armband back in the 1st place, it was taken off of him for a reason. Now I don't fault his commitment, but his behaviour has been less than perfect
