Players recalled

I've just seen that we've recalled Essam and Evans from their loans, this is good news, it means now that we don't have to play frampton or Lawrence and have Essam and Richards in the middle, which I think will be a decent combo, Also Evans at right back as it looks like Payne's got a slight knock so Lee can finally get back in the midfield

 

Great news, Evans seems to have a bit of quality in him, also Essam seems good.

 

it's one thing these players being recalled, it's another playing them!

as things stand, they should all get a chance, but based on stefan payne's experience and 5/10 mins with other youths...don't get to excited

 

I hope they do get a chance, they need it.

 

Last Thursday before the Accrington match when there was much speculation about the defensive shake up that we were all expecting Hessy was quoted on the Gills website as saying

"I don't want to pull Connor back just for the sake of putting him in and around the squad, he has to play...."

Whether he would have played tomorrow we may never know, but it'll be interesting to see what happens.

 

I can gurantee he won't be playing tomorrow!

 

Have to wonder whether the boys Essam and Evans will play in midweek so that the coaching staff can get a good look at them before deciding whether they're ready for action or not. Personally, I don't see too many changes being made.
