I personally hope we tear those brummie ****s a new one this weekend. sure i want 3 points but for me i just want them to never get one over us ever again.

it gets trotted out everytime we play them now but i'll never forgive them for the way they acted when we went down. a club that had no beef or connection acted like mackems would when we went down to a scabby own goal.

The 6-0 was beautiful but i never want to lose to villa ever again and never let them forget that they'll never get the chance to gloat like that again.

I hope the new guys are told all about it by the ones who went down and we f*cking annihilate them. Up the dembas and HTL.

True words spoken here. Before that season I had no strong feelings about Aston Villa. Now I can't stand them.

I've always had a dislike for anyone with a brummie accent as i think it makes them sound slightly ******ed but villa as a club were just another side to me and i couldn't understand why they took such pleasure in seeing us sink. I would only reserve that kind of bile for our arch rivals. they truly stuck the knife in with their banners etc. totally unprovoked.

I hate a lot of teams now. There's only Arsenal and Wigan that I actually want to win games.

You just know we're gonna lose 1-2 on Sunday though. They're good away and when we should win we never do.

A lot of people seem optimistic about this one despite Villa's good away record, only lost twice on the road at Man City & Tottenham.

really? thats quite surprising. I'm not 'confident' against anyone but theres no reason why we can't beat them and i'll be praying we do. nowt against the villa squad just their toxic ****er fans.

    Fulham 0-0 Aston Villa
    Everton 2-2 Villa
    QPR 1-1 Villa
    Man City 4-1 Aston Villa
    Sunderland 2-2 Aston Villa
    Tottenham 2-0 Aston Villa
    Swansea 0-0 Aston Villa
    Bolton 1-2 Aston Villa
    Stoke 0-0 Aston Villa
    Chelsea 1-3 Aston Villa
    Wolves 2-3 Aston Villa
    Arsenal 3-2 Aston Villa

Ok looking at the away results it's not that scary. Other than the Chelsea game they have had no decent wins really away. They have only won 3 and drawn 6. Can see this one being a draw maybe?

Still got to play away to Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle, so got their toughest spell of away games ahead of them. Took 1 point off those teams at home and have drawn a lot of away games this year.

Agree with all the above. I also can't stand McLeish, I know he got Birmingham the League Cup and 9th place one season but they were also relegated under him and then to move from there to derby rivals Villa when they were relegated just left a nasty taste in my mouth. Hopefully it'll all work out ok for Birmingham now with Chris Hughton but I just felt that move by McLeish was quite a kick in the teeth when they were down.

going to set ourselves up for disappointment here. hope is a dangerous thing.

having said that, i've always disliked villa. usually go to the away game and have, in the past, been unfortunate to sit in the home end. one time i was next to this little charva scrote (think it was the 4-1, where we scored first then got battered). he was only 10 and was giving it large like he was the king of the world as the goals mounted up. i was praying for a second toon goal so i could accidentally leave my elbow on his face as i jumped up. would've been worth getting chucked out over.
