More to the point though, how much of Cisse do you think we might see Saturday? I've blindly swapped Adebayor for him in my fantasy team - frankly because Ade hasn't done a thing in well over a month and deserves to be sold! But I think/hope after the phantom acts Best and Shola have put in lately Pardew might take a chance on Demba-numero-deux

Don't be disappointed if he doesn't play on Saturday (it's Sunday we play!) But even then I don't think he'll start - expect "It was just a bit too soon for him" from Pardew, but having Ba back will be such a massive boost I'm not gunna be TOO disappointed if he only gets cameos until he slots into the team properly!

I hope we see at least a full half of football from Cisse, or even a start would be fantastic.

Why not? Many teams who have bought players this window are sending them right into the thick of it.

the last 2 games we have created **** all! Ba will obviously walk back in, Cisse should get at very least 30-45mins, preferably he starts!

Very unlikely Cisse will get 45 minutes, why would you start a player who's only going to play half a game? He'll probably get 20 mins or so I'd expect.

Surely Ba has told Cisse enough about what to expect. Throw him in deep end I say. Test his fitness today and see then but after ACoN i cant imagine match fitness being an issue. I reckon Cisse and Ba to start on Saturday. Surely the best way to show our intentions of a top 4 finish! Cisse was, after all, the most expensive purchase of the transfer window. We dont have time to let him settle.

Can't see Cisse starting but he does have two big things ping on his favour; he plays alongside Ba anyways so he does t have to learn how to gel with the current striker and Best/Shola have done nothing to hold their place while he hasn't been here.

The language thing could work two ways really.

I expect best and Ba to start though.

Surely he speaks French like most of the lads now? Sure Ba will look after him anyway

You have to think Pards will likely revert to the team that beat Man U 3-0 (minus obviously the centre midfielders). I hope not becuase I'd love to see Cisse.

There's no way he's starting, ideal situation for Pardew would be for us to be comfortable and leading with about 10 mins to go just to give him the inevitable boiling hot welcome from the home crowd....

Will be shocked to see him at all

    it'll be:

    Krul
    Simpson-Willo-Colo-Santon
    Raylor-Guthrie-Perch-Jonas
    Ba-Best

with Benny and Cisse coming on late in the game.

On a scale of 1 to 10 how disappointed would you be if we start with Shola and Best up front on Sunday?
