    On Facebook. Must have been on the NUFC page, they have been removed. The matter is now in the hands of police.

    Makes me ****ing sick. Shola is ****, but I would never racially abuse him. He's been such a loyal servant to this club, will go down in history I reckon. This is sick.

    Just been on SSN.

    Just heard about it on Twitter as well... It's a ****ing disgrace and unfortunately not the first time something like this has happened.

    Hope the **** is dealt with appropriately.

    Shola is an absolute travesty of a player but no-one deserves treatment like that and I hope the guilty party get punished.

    This is so bad, it really annoys me, I bet the little toe-rags wouldn't say it to Shola's face he's huge ! I hate racists so much would happily lock them away for ever so they couldn't plant their bad seed in anyone else. Not kill them though would rather make them suffer and earn their food by doing community work in the areas of the world they have been racist to !

    I think talk of him going in history is generous to say the least (bar his mackem killing what exactly is he going to go down in history for? Longest running lack of effort? Longest time at a club for a player not good enough to be there?)

    However anybody racially abusing the lad is a complete bell end.

    Gashead said there was a fair bit of racist shouting from 1 or 2 at the Blackburn game, same as last season if I remember rightly - shocking behaviour!

    A guy on the street shouldn't be racially abused so there's no way Shola should be either.

    He may not be the best striker in the world but he is human and deserves to be treat as any human should be. I thought we were getting rid of these idiot bigots.

    The point is that they are not "empty" words whatever that is supposed to mean. Racist words are insulting, vile and demeaning words. I have not seen the words written on this occassion and so cannot comment specifically on this incident. However if the words were racist then no way are they "empty" and quite right that people can be locked up for writing such words especially in such a cowardly way i.e. not mano to mano.
