So, what do we all think?

    I'd go with:

    Kenny

    Young
    Ferdinand
    Onuha
    Taiwo

    SWP
    Barton
    Buz
    Tarrabt
(Or maybe Tarrabt on right in place of SWP with Traore in left mid)

    Zamora
    Cisse

Sorry for any spelling mistakes, gotta get used to the new names.

    SWP
    Barton
    Buz
    Tarrabt

Creative but we will risk be overrun again. Maybe Traore in place of SWP?

Guys, Wolves are no mugs and anybody who thinks that it is an automatic 3Pts for us needs their head examined. Wolves will fight for their lives. Unfortunately we are very vunerable in the middle of the park. Until Diaklite gets back from Africa, we will prob need to keep playing Derry. We need to play with at least one CM sitting. Barton should be capable of this but he seems to have lost his ability to be aggressive in the tackle and Buz can't play this role. It would be tactically naive of us to start any match without at least one holding midfielder. Wolves will also target this match as a strong possibility for 3pts for them. No easy matches in this division.

What does SWP have to do to get dropped? With Traore and Taarabt back surely he must make way.

Good point Flanman. If Gabbidon is fit, he would be up to the job against Wolves and Onouha would give us strength, stamina and speed in that role - supporting the defence and giving our midfield a chance to hold and distribute the ball (something we have been very poor at so far in the middle of the field!).

No way , Onuha is more athlete than footballer. Lets keep the back four good an solid , we need to start keeping clean sheets.

Agreed it will be 2 from barton/buzz/derry. also I believe with Traore on the left it will give us more cover down the left hand side.

Exciting times and massive game on Sat.

    Traore for SWP.
Anyone at all other than Barton to take free kicks & corners
Buz & Tarraararararabat could be considered a luxury selection against the grit of Wolves

    Provided everyone is fit -

    -----------Kenny-----------
    Onouha--Ferdinand--Gabbidon--Taiwo
    --SWP--Derry--Barton--Traore
    Zamora--Cisse

Going for Onouha over Young as he was torn a new one last night by Nzogbia, and altho he isnt of the same class, Jarvis has pace to burn so will need to address that. So sticking Gabby in the middle with Ferdi. Tarbs on the bench until he proves he can put in a 90 minute shift. Hes not really set the ACoN on fire....That Said hopefully Huhges can get the best out of him.

is Buz out for long? if he's fit he'll play CM with Barton. I'd stick with Young as well very experienced!

    Kenny

    Young
    Onouha
    Ferdinand
    Traore

    Taiwo
    Barton
    Buz
    SWP

    Cisse
    Zamora

Tarrabt on the bench! Coming on second half for either SWP or one of the strikers.

I would also consider dropping SWP for Mackie. Although I am not a mackie fan SWP needs to sort his life out!

Did Young have that bad a game? A lot of you seem to think so.

Could we bring on either SWP or Adel as impact subs? Traore hasn't really had anything to do at the African cup so as long as he has kept training he should be fit and Adel got used as a sub so I reckon he should also be fit enough and rested enough to play on Saturday.

Wolves are no mugs and it is going to take some individual improvements - I'm looking at YOU Barton - as well as a solid team set up and discipline to crack them. I don't want to contemplate anything other than 3 points or my prediction of 43 points by the end of the season is well and truly buggered!

    Come on you R's!!!!!!!!!!!

feel a bit sorry for HH if fit looks like he will be on the bench, but forking out a few million for strikers they've got to play & i'm looking forward to seeing them live, the midfield i would have smith, buz if fit, barton, traore/tarbs.

Young seems to lose his man a bit too often as he did Nzogbia (sp?) last night, and struggles for speed against the quickest. But perhaps MH will want to bed in the new CB pairing of Anton and Onouha and get them settled, and keep Young at RB. Agree with you we need much more defensively from midfield - not quite sure where that is going to come from at least until Diakite arrives?!

I think Adel may start as a sub on Saturday...hard to see where he fits into 4-4-2 sadly. I wouldn't mind Onouha playing right back if Gabby is fit, as I think Young has been a bit dodgy of late. This wouldn't be my team, but could be Sparky's:
    -----------------Kenny-----------------
    Young -- Onouha -- Ferdinand -- Taiwo
    Mackie -- Barton -- Buzsacky -- SWP
    ----------Cisse---------Zamora--------

    Mine would be:
    -----------------Kenny----------------
    Onouha - Ferdinand -- Gabbidon - Taiwo
    -----------Barton -- Derry-------------
    SWP-----------Taarabt----------Traore
    ------------------Cisse------------------
I think Adel could create a lot of chances for Cisse. He looked frustrated at times v Villa when the right ball wasn't delivered onto his runs...Taarabt would do this!!
