With QPR facing 7 charges relating to the signing of Faurlin in 2009, due to unauthourised agents, third parties, false information and the possibility of a points deduction the championship could be thrown wide open, and with Norwich level on points with Swansea if QPR are deducted points we should go for the title and try and go up as champions (again!)

Interesting to note who wanted West Ham to be deducted points when Tevez signed for them and broke F.A. rules and got Sheff Utd relegated, wonder if he'll be keen for the same rules to be applied now

It certainly would be very interesting (and most probably very tense too) to see the top 6 back into contention for the title.

However, as good as it would be to see QPR docked points to allow us a good chance of gaining promotion as champions, it would be unfair to them as they are currently by far and away league leaders on merit. Its not like QPR are a one man team under Faurlin anyway.
I can’t see a points deduction happening, so I think it’ll just be a fine. Personally, second place would see me ecstatic anyway

If Neil Warnock was to actually blame for the current situation I would jumping up and down and laughing my b*ll*cks off.
However it is not of his doing and as much as I do not like the whinging old git, docking points would not be fair on Warnock personally.

From the other point of view - QPR as a club may have broken 7 rules (if proven) and as a club should be punished, be it points or a very hefty fine (I mean hefty, not £50,000 or so)

As for the championship being thrown wide open - if points are docked then I would love to see City push on and take the title but lets not forget there a few other real contenders in the mix that would love it too.

to deduct points from qpr in my opinion would be wrong

there fans have done nothing wrong at all....i dont like the idea of qpr supporters being
punished for having done nothing but support there team..

anyway..looking foward to saturday and taking 3 points off your lot..

    COME ON YOU ULL

Did you think the same thing about Leeds when we were deducted 15 points, out of interest? Don't wish to take this thread too much off topic.

i think it would be out of order to deduct points from QPR and im a gillingham fan
at this point of the season it is wrong to do things like that
it is only acceptable in my eyes to deduct points at the start of the season or under severe circumstaces

would rather go up based on football. Chasing down leaders appears to be a Lambert speciality...might be a bit late now, but I'd rather go up on points won rather than points deducted on off the pitch shenanigans from shady back room deals. Otherwise the talk goes like this, ten years from now: "You won the league that year, didn't you?"(other punter) "We did" (Norwich fan)..."Oh, that was the year QPR got deducted X points, that's why..." (other punter)
Let's not forget the simply incredible position we're in now. Shafting other teams because of potential points deduction is all a bit handbags.

Yeah but at the end of the day it's the second division title, not the Premiership. No real club boasts about how many second tier trophies they've won, do they?

QPR deserve it and they are not a bad little club at all, I would be happy for them to be champions, and sad if they were deducted points. BUT, (for me, personally) I love how Warnock is in the other man's boots now, so to speak. He had a right hissy about this same situation back at Sheff Utd. If the FA were in anyway vindictive, or, indeed, had a backbone, I reckon they would love to rub some **** in his face just because he was being such an arse. To be honest, I think the FA could be preventing these situations. If they just had a representative body to referee incoming transfers from South America, neither this nor the Tevez incident would've occurred - problem solved?

If QPR were to be deducted points it would be well sad but if they are deducted points i dont believe they would deduct 10 points because that would be truily out of order

i hope norwich do well by hopefully going up and doing well in the premiership
