    Yeah, I heard something like that as well. Sensible really. No other teams would have 6 CBs on there books and look at a kid to come in & bail us out!

    Wasnt great anywhere he went. Done well for a L2 MK dons and thats about it.

    Will be cheap though so dont rule him out <yikes>

    Morning all, I'm with Kissa on this, I'd like Dougie Freedman in, & hopefully he'd bring his defensive coach Tony Popovic with him.
    Bruce? No thanks. Not just because of who he played for, just the fact he's an awful manager.
    We'll probably end up with Michael Brown as player manager & Kisnorbo as his assistant/defensive coach. They're both on the pay role, Brown hardly plays anyway & Kisnorbo's finished.
    It's the cheapest option- Bates loves cheap.

    Dougie Freedman is fairly new to management and is doing a great job at Palace, where he's worshipped by the fans due to his long playing career there, and seems to be well liked and backed by their chairman as he was able to knock back a £7million offer for Zaha acouple of days ago. The only thing that will drag him away from that club is money, and lots of it, so he won't be coming to Leeds.

    id hate it to be dougie freedman.

    not proven at any level, i get that hes done a decent job at Palace, but the bloke has always been palace through & through hasnt he? Apart from the season we had him!

    O'Driscall will get us playing football, so will Poyet.

    Warnock is 50/50 hoofball & football.

    As for CB, I'd rather see Danny Pugh there instead of O'Dea. More mobile(who isn't?) & could hardly be any worse. & let's face it, for £500,000 he's a bit of a nothing player anywhere else, be it LB, CM of wide left.
    He's also deceptively tall!

    We have the players to play passing football, which would benefit somma and Mccormack! get Becchio out of the team for a bit (until fit)

    get Odea out (cos all he seems to want to do is hoof it 80 yard)

    Get the ball on the deck and pass it

    Maybe Odriscol is the one

    think we have to move away from ex-players, it never seems to work. Radebe as defensive coach maybe but not the manager.

    Kissa, I'd rather we hoofballed our way to promotion than tippy-tappied our way to mid-table obscurity!
    Once we're in the PL, more chance of getting shot of Bates, more chance of getting some classy players in.
    The record books won't show what type of football we're playing, just what division we're in.

    Id also like to see someone who gets us playing attractive, passing football. Its proven to work in this division (Swansea, norwich etc) and its actually worth paying to watch <laugh>
