Proud_Fox wrote: Nigel Pearson sent off Right you may or may not know what happened at half time. The ****** of a ref barged into our dressing room without knocking and interupted Pearson as he was talking to the players. Pearson was shocked at the refs behaviour and they had a few words and Pearson then "told him where to go". Nigel actually said this live on the radio to stringer. When Nigel came out for the second half he was immediatly sent to the stands Nigel has said from now on he will lock the doors so no one can come in and he will make an official complaint to the FA about the ref The ref was a complete arsehole and the worse ref i have seen in a long time. please log in to view this image
I see the infatuation with Leicester increases. We aren't bloody rivals. And as for the ref barging into the dressing room during their half time team talk, i'd be pissed off and all.
To be fair the ref was absolutely diabolical just prey that you never get him,if i had been near him id have punched him and im not a violent person lol
Was it Atwell? Cos he has a habit of ruining matches & he's a twat. And by the way, i like the banter between the clubs like on the other thread, just can't be arsed with tonnes of "let's all laugh at Pearson" messages.
Bursting in ? Barging in? two phrases used to describe the incident. Did he "karate kick " the door in ...........did he shoulder charge the closed doors open or did he knock and walk in ? Why did he wish to talk to NP ...... was it to give friendly advice about his whingeing players who were tempting yellow cards being awarded against them for too much complaining or was there possibly too much verbal abuse and bad language directed on the field at the referee himself? Did one action warrant NP's reaction? We will probably not get the whole story accurately ,but there are always two sides. Embellish the facts to suit your case and it affects other peoples thoughts and opinions on the rest of the proceedings especially if your team was on the end of poor refereeing decisions(in your eyes). If there is a plauseable reason for the incident NP might be better to forget about lodging any sort of complaint because the Authorities will almost surely find him culpable even if the referee gets his wrist slapped. Never saw the offence or the game so I can't judge the REFs performance ,he might just be the worst REF in the world but then again I wouldn't want to be a referee in this day and age .There is too much cheating, diving, whingeing, shirt pulling, abuse, and lack of respect on top of the draconian directions from the authorities that a REFs job is almost impossible. It doesn't help that the Managers abuse the 4th official every time they dislike a decision or that the REF "Cops it "for a poor decision he may uphold for offside. Outlaw shirt pulling and diving (something that came in with the import of players from Europe) ,Managers abusing 4th officials (bad TV spectacle and influence for young players) .Stop players "crowding and intimidating REFs) allow only a captain to speak to him. Get rid of the 2 yellow card system and the taking of "one for the team" send them off for dangerous or malicious fouls and lets get the game cleaned up at home at least . Too much "play acting " these days and REFs can be excused for uncertainty in some decision making. The game is being ruined by overpaid primadonnas. The African Nations Cup had so many players laying down or rolling around when there was little or NO reason it was at times laughable and certainly not "SOCCER" End of Rant Ps Thanks Leicester for the late equaliser ,we can't have the Boro getting it too easy.
this is not an us vs Leicester story ,i heard him on radio 5 live last night , He was livid that the referee interrupted him twice in at HT during his team talk. He told him where to go and the referee instructed the 4th official to send him off. If its correct then i can't see what NP did wrong , i'd tell the ref to do one also. Carrying on like a jumped up doctors receptionist
We all already know that 90% of refs at this level are ****ing garbage. And then they're interrupting half time team talks to assert their authority? You do it on the pitch and nowhere else, even then you've gotta do it right. Can't see how NP has done anything wrong here, he's probably shown immense restraint in fact.
The Leicester interviewer says; "Did you talk to the referee after the game?" NP says "I wouldn't lower myself like that." Brilliant. Then the interviewer asks him about something else, and Nigel goes; "I wanna go back to the previous question..." And gets all ranty again. It's funny, and he's in the right.
****ing referees are ****s. They remind me of Cartman on South Park, the most self important self obsessed power crazy ****ers on the planet. THey'd do a sterling job working for someone like the Taliban.
Have to say Nigel is completely within his rights if these events actually happened. Terrible by the ref.
Why is NP a clown for telling some one who interupted his HT team talk, to do one? I would have expected any manager in the land would have done the same.
To be Fair Caz where was security ? Dont they post a man or 2 outside the dressing rooms to keep the riff raff out ? NP SSN interview explaining what had gone on was so boring and slow. I almost nodded off listening to it.
Thats 2 games running that M'Boro players have played suicide back passes that have cost them Wins. Any chance Tony Mowbray of keeping one for monday 9th April 2012 ? just asking like.
Can't balme Pearson at all, any manager would be ****ed off if the ref interrupted them during their half time talk. Christ help them if they did it to someone like Sir Alex.
