    Torres.

He has gone over 1000 minutes in all competitions without a goal. Not bad for a £50Million striker, or is it a joke!

There really should be an option for Loserpool's statement defending Suarez by setting back race relations 350 years.

  5. I thought about that, but considered that it should be a category in the "Tragic Event of the Year Award."

    Done <ok>.

All seriousness though which player would you rather have at Spurs, Torres or Mandy?

    Play along will you?

Pick one. It's definitely Torres, you lot just can't bring yourselves to say it :)

  11. All right.

If you put a gun to my head, I'd pick Torres.

But it is under duress, you understand!

  13. We had to live with three **** strikers, last season.

Of those, we've got rid of Crouch and Pav, and Defoe seems finally to have got his act together (as I predicted he would, this season).

Taking either Carroll or Torres would be a retrograde step.

Having said that, I genuinely believe that Harry would get Torres playing like a demi-god.

Can we not add - moderators of the new nomads (formerly known as Fulham's junior club) getting those that they cannot win an argument against banned from the forum?

What do you reckon to the Saha signing? Always rated Saha, think he'll be decent for you.

  17. I happen to agree.

A lot of Spurs fans have been extremely dismissive of him, which I see as something of an insult on Harry. And yet, where has Harry gone wrong for us? The only real player of his that didn't perform has been Crouch, and even then, he wasn't a complete failure. Mostly, Harry has proved, over many years, that he has a good eye for talent, especially for getting the best out of older players who other managers have written off. Gallas is one prime example of that.

If we can get Saha fit without him pulling a tendon, then I think we'll have a player who is, at least, as good as Adebayor.

Agree with most of that but come on, Crouch has not been his ONLY failure. He's got a good eye for a bargain 99% of the time I'd say.

I'd take Torres and Carroll, to be honest.
I think that they're both playing in systems that don't suit them and the pressure of their price tags is weighing on them, too.
