Why moan just because there is one more thread on the board about todays match? .. Theres a few others who make ratings threads as well but they dont get stick.

Besides i find them quite "interesting" to read haha.

About the ratings though i pretty much agree but simpson deserves better, saved our arses again with a block on the line.

 

Anyone suggesting Krul for MOTM is an idiot, nearly cost us goals on so many occasions by stupidly flying off his line.

 

That'll be once then, and maybe at one of the corners where he didn't connect with a punch. Aside from that he saved a pen and tbh Colo's the only person I'd consider giving it to apart from him.

Also is anyone else looking forward to a few weeks time and we're not arguing over whether Shola or best are worse but instead which of Ba or Cisse are better?

 

Im gonna have to agree with you, its like half the board watches a different game, shola is woeful.

 

Definitely looking forward...This Shola and Best debate is getting silly...To think we're discussing who's the worst player.. It won't even be of any meaning soon...(Unless of course Alan Pardew does us a shocker and starts Shola.....again)

I'd play Lovenkrands over Ameobi tbh. Let's see what him and Best can do. Lovenkrands and Ameobi both had roughly the same goals to apps record last season (25/6 and 28/6 respectively) so really, he can't be any worse and he can't be any less of a goal threat than Ameobi is.

In fact, playing a small nippy striker and a target man as a partnership would probably work better and help Best and Lover get more goals between them.

 

I'd say so, i've said it a few times now, Guthrie has been our best midfielder this season.
