Massive over reaction, so you lot got your arses handed to you by a tactically superior Sunderland team on the night...

Carra was right in an earlier post, you lot have been spoilt!

That is the best team performance I have seen from a Sunderland side for many a year.
Every player closing down and didn't give your lot a chance to settle.
Stopped you getting any comfortable crosses to your forwards which before kick off was my main worry.
Hard graft won the battle and a couple of superb pieces of skill won the game.
    Deservedly so, imho.
I wouldn't give your lads too much stick, as on the night I doubt they were expecting us to chase every ball like we did.

Good luck for the rest of your season. <ok>

Ha, ha - love the DeliaDome. Loved the whole post in fact. Brilliant. Good luck for rest of season - though I don't think you're gonna need luck the way you're playing.

Comfy top 12 finish for Norwich.

Bottom 3 will be as they are tonight IMO.

In hindsight, I'm not sure what Lambert was expecting to happen, having Crofts and Surman as our wide players, and yet trying to utilise Holt and Morrison. Although, in truth we played so badly there is nothing we could of done, we wouldn't of looked like scoring in 180 minutes that night...

Unfortunately last night exposed the weakness of the diamond.
When the full backs don't get forward we have no width and no service to the front guys.
Our midfield got outnumbered and bullied by a committed and passionate Sunderland side, who thoroughly deserved their victory.
We need to bounce back against Bolton, and Pilkington & Bennet have to come in.

I have to confess I expected Norwich to be a tougher test, either we played very well or you were poor? Not sure which probably a bit of both. I was concerned that your aerial threat was going to be a problem, as your front two were winning the majority of balls in the air, we have Stoke on Saturday.

Good luck for the rest of the season, may I ask why you were in green, surely yellow would not have been a clash?

We should not have played the diamond last night and that was an error of judgement, a rare one thankfully.

The kit would have been a shirt sponsor obligation, the same as when you played in sky blue at Carrow Road <ok>

well played last night sunderland. apart from man city, you are the only other team to blow us away this season. cracking performance, even if we were rather abject on the night.

good luck for the season <ok>

I was surprised with the way the game went last night. Norwich didn't seem at the races and we were right up for it. I was chuffed Pilkington wasn't playing from the start, given you had 2 target men up front I thought you would have played with an out and out winger to get the ball in the box. Something didn't click for Norwich last night, alot of the time Holt was out wide causing no threat and in the 2nd half Morrison went on Richardson and I thought Ricco dealt with him impeccably.

2 cracking goals though, think I prefer Sess's just because it was a brilliant team goal. Really good move for the 3rd one as well, see Swansea, that's how you are meant to do it, keep passing the ball but you need a creative pass in amongst it as well.

Norwich will be just fine though, I'd be wary of Saturday if you are playing Bolton, they form has picked up a little bit now. Think you'll stay up with quite a few points to spare though.
