So - Spurs played **** but still won .... what does that say about Liverpoor? Does Oh Carroll teach them how to not score?
What - another one, for speaking the truth? The newbie thing under your name and that fact that you have spelt your name the way you have kind of makes you look less than credible.
It's interesting to see our line-up, as you can see how the loans have weakened it. Pretty unrecognisable, in the main. It's all about getting experience though, I suppose. The loanees are doing that elsewhere.
I was at the game, and apart from the last 15 mins when they needed to score, and twas "tall kids vs little kids" , I wasn't unduly worried. Spurs worked the left well in the 2nd half with Coulthirst. And much of the passing play thru the middle of the MF was good too. A mediocre Spurs beat a better Pooool. But I don't worry, because I know the reason why the game was at WHL.
Watched most of the game and thought we had enough more than enough chances to win the game but the youth had the same problem as the first-team last night. Couldn't put the ball away! Anyway, well done Spurs and good luck in the semi-final. I've enjoyed watching the NextGen Series and think it's been a good tournament.
Thanks for the positive thoughts Chris and I agree with you about it being a good tournament. It lets the youngsters play against a variety of styles and see how they do things in other countries, which can only help their development. Nice to give them a fairly competitive try out too, though the experience is more important than results.

The nextgen one reads a little different than the Spurs one Good luck, Barca or Ajax, that would have been sweet as those two are the giants in academy football at the moment.
