I say Warnock - Reason being one way or another he will last a maximum of two years. Be it he fails to get us promoted or he does then we struggle through lack of funds the next manager won't last more than two years with Bates at the helm, no matter how good you are Bates is looking for a miracle, someone who can sign cheapo players or freebies sell them for profit and maintain a promotion drive season after season.

We can then all hope that Bates kicks the bucket or sells up and gets out within that time scale.

I want Warnock end of. Have been saying it for a while but no one has a finer pedigree of getting cash strapped clubs to the Premiership

My mate at work who's a Sheff Utd fan said Warnock would do the business. But would he put up with Ken Bates?

Ken Bates and Wise are busom buddies, think he will go for one of his Chelsea buddies. I hope I'm totally wrong on my theories.

You missed out Cardiff ;) lol under Malky we are playing better football then we ever did under Dave Jones!

I agree with Freedman but would he want to leave Crystal Palace?! Dave Jones is good at bringing in players under a shoestring budget but he has no passion n you guys will get annoyed specially with this club having really passionate supporters you just want to slap him n shake him silly!!!!!

I'd be surprised if it's Clark, Warnock, Freedman or Robinson.

Clark and Robinson are both testing the lower leagues as young managers and are doing very very well. Why would they leave their respected clubs for a sinking ship? Warnock won't come because it's well publicised that Bates is tighter than a duck's arse. Freedman has build a very talented young squad who just got knocked out of the Carling Cup on penalties, literally seconds from Wembley, plus it's the club he loves.

Personally I think someone along the lines of Gordon Strachan or Gary McAllister, people with strong associations with your club would be more likely to take up the role. However Bates could go for one of his Chelsea mates and pinch Di Matteo.

It remains to be seen who the next manager will be, but what wasn't forseen was Grayson's departure which reeks of panic sacking to me.

Especially if Larry's slapper is still there to shag. After all, if Larry can, surely anybody can.
