    Three people mentioned the same thing and I doubt they all had the same source, but last week they each mentioned Warnock going to Leeds to replace Grayson.

    I didn't pay it much heed, I just thought it was an odd coincidence that they all mentioned it in unconected conversations.

    BUt now....

    Can you imagine Warnock dealing with Bates??

    I can't! Not saying Colin isn't being lined up for Bellend Park, but he would surely last less time there than Cloughie did!!

    That was exactly my view, especially with Colin still working at the time, but each person told me to watch what happens at the weekend, and sure enough...

    I reckon Leeds will stick with Grayson for a while. Most clubs that aren't happy with their manager would ditch them before the January window (except QPR of course). The fact that Grayson is being allowed to sign players is a vote of confidence of sorts from Bates.

    Knowing how tight the Leeds chairman is with the money can you hpnestly see Bates paying out compensation to Grayson to get rid of him. Unless of course there may be a devious plan to go back into administration (again) and get Grayson sacked without making any sort of payments to him.

    Looks like you were right Dutch, the odds on Colin being next Leeds manager are down to evens, they obviously think he's got it already.

    According to 5 Live,Bates and Warnock get on well with each other and all previous differences of opinion have been forgotten.

    Maybe they deserve each other after all.!
