    SWP Barton Taarabt/Diakite Traore
    Zamora Cisse

    Subs
    Cerny Taarabt/Diakite Gabbidon Hall Mackie

Annoying thing is that players like Buz, DJC and Smith miss out, not through form or worth, just because we now have an abundance.

Why is everybody putting SWP in - just want the chance to slag him off after the games?
Defence and attack pick themselves, midfield

    Barton............Buz/Taarabt (on form and opposition).......Diakite..........Traore

I feel that if SWP gets a run of games in the right position you will see the best of him.

I agree Alan. SWP and Traore on the wings, Cisse up front. Bags of pace.

Yep as I've said before on this forum give SWP a run of games on the right (Newcastle at home) and he will be OK (if not great as he still can't kick a ball cleanly (certainly when aiming at the goal))

also got to remember zamora doesn't score mamy but he creates a bucket load i think with the pace of traore, swp and cisse we could score a bucket load.

    Kenny
    Young - Gabbidon - Ferdinand - Traore
    SWP - Derry - Taarabt - Smith
    Helguson - Mackie

Subs Onouha; Taiwo; Diakte; Cisse; Zamora

These guys cost a lot of money so no point in wearing them out too soon. This would also lay down a marker that we are now one of the big boys in this league and are able to have a bench full of expensive players.

I think the movement of Zamora & Cisse will free up Taarabt to be more creative and get more goal scoring oppertunities and assists.

    Kenny
    Young - Onouha - Ferdinand - Taiwo
    SWP - Barton - Diakite
    Taarabt
    Cisse-Zamora

Subs: - Cerny, Macheda, HH, Bothroyd, Mackie, Gabbidon Hill / alternative subs Murphy, Buzz, DJ, Hall, Smith, Derry, Ramage

That just leaves Hogan or Hulse for the remaining spot for the 25 squad either or in my opinion will not make a lot of difference.

Sparky looks like setting the team up as a traditional 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1. Good old fashioned solid back four, couple of ball winners in the middle with two wingers knocking crosses into the two big men. Plenty of other options available too with Young being able to over lap and Traore too if he is left in defence and not pushed up to midfield.

I think most of us have gone for SWP as he has previously been effective on the wing or bringing the ball in from the wing. If we need more quality supply through the middle then Taraabt (if he is on his game) or Buzz (if he is fit and continues to show improvement) or Faurlin (when he is back) could also be a source of decent service to Cisse and Zamora.
