Thrashed at home yet again. Beaten by a team who have a huge player up front and who scored 4 goals. Nothing of any interest in the transfer window, except selling the club captain. Some sections of the support very unhappy and protesting. Bates doesn't give a **** and would allow the club to die before he bows to the "morons". Manager who can't get the team to play football which is worth watching and has relied on luck for most of the season.

    What next?

At least Bristol City have Derek McInnes, he's a talented manager and with him they have a future.

No need to panic. A loanee arriving from spurs and a rejuvenated O'Brien soon to return. That's the defence sorted. Grayson is king

I wouldnt trust this guy with my money! 63 loan signings in 3 seasons is pathetic! Grayson has to go for me, we can all see that some of these players cant play under pressure, he brought in players nobody wanted and apart from gradel and rosco, who else has he been successful with!

Monster, you can't defend Bates saying you wouldn't trust Grayson with your money because he's never been given enough money to have the opportunity to earn the trust. It's not Bates' money either, it's the clubs money, and Grayson has much more right to spend the clubs money than that fat sack of cockney **** ever will.

He's given nothing to any of the managers that have been at Leeds since he's been in charge, only now there's no longer a valid excuse for it.

My heart says Strachan but my head says NO. He has never done well as a manager in England and whilst what he achieved with Celtic was brilliant, it was a league of two and Celtic have more money than Leeds do.

Would love Strachan but old players coming back as managers hasn't worked well for us recently (McAllister). I know its been discussed before but Warnock knows how to get teams out of this division. Fact. Today really has made me realise that Grayson isn't the man to take us up. I know we've got an evil bastard chairman who makes it difficult for him but he has had 3 years to sort out our awful defence and he still hasn't fixed it. Why the hell didn't we spend some money on a decent CB today? Surely SG knows that this is what we so desperately need (proven today), so why wasn't anything done? I've long been a supporter of Grayson as he has done well with such ****e and limited resources, but i genuinely think he has taken us as far as we can go...

He's also said he's retiring (fact) and even if he doesn't, he wouldn't want to work for Frees/Feeds United as we've now become known (fact).

You said it yourself. Because Bates doesn't give him enough money to get one. We signed Sodje (good at the time), Naylor (good at the time), Kisnorbo (good at the time) and O'Brien (good at the time). Thing is, they were all cheap and weak, and they've fallen by the wayside. You won't get a proper commander of a centre-back unless you spend REAL figures, and we both know the evil bastard won't authorize that sort of spending.

Until he's given a playoff budget, I won't expect him to get a sub-playoff standard team into the playoffs.

And the common link there is................... they were all good at the time until SG started to manage them.
