    Only 18 and made just six appearances (all as sub) this season, so clearly would just be one for the future.

    Sounds promising but do we really need a centre back at the moment? I'd rather we wait till the summer and then reassess our options.

    He played for the reserves last night as a trialist. We were impressed by all accounts.

    I asked on the Pompey board about this guy and the few responses I got seemed to be all positive. Good prospect who apparently should have cost us more than the £400,000 we paid for him. I must say our collection of talented youngsters is very promising.

    I was brimming with excitement at the thought of Sordell joining us from Watford, we were the frontrunners apparently too.
