http://www.nepress.co.uk/transfer/echo.html If it's true?????? not so sure myself but as a stop gap he's beter than a crocked Bendtner i suppose, depends on the deal.
I@m surprised there haven't been more rumours concerning Heskey to be honest. Save the lazy journo's actually getting of their arses.
Would we rather have Heskey or not sign anyone? doesn't look like Davies or Pav are coming and at the rumoured price would be decent cover?
Last few times N'Zogbia now it's Heskey as long as MON stays with us we'll always be linked with him, as said lazy journos.
It would seem that the Kevin Davies rumour is not quite dead in the water...... http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport/sunderland-afc/chris-young-column/bolton_striker_davies_agent_coy_on_sunderland_speculation_1_4198241 Kevin Davies' agent is refusing to comment on speculation linking the Bolton striker with a move to Sunderland, writes James Hunt Despite Owen Coyle insisting Davies would not be leaving the Reebok, reports of a possible deal with Sunderland have continued. When asked whether or not Davies would be heading to the Stadium Of Light, his agent refused to comment, and it was the same story when he was asked if he’d be signing a new contract with Bolton. Black Cats boss Martin O’Neill identified the 34-year-old as his key target as he looks to bolster his attacking options before the close of the transfer window.
My hunch even before MON was appointed was that if he was Heskey would be one of his 1st signings coz they are joined at the hip. I even think Davies & other strikers we have been linked with might even have been a smokescreen. Sorry - don't want that useless c*nt anywhere near the SOL. Bart
recon direction has changed and Pav is now the target just Arry to convince without the brown paper bag
