So where does that leave Connolly ? I assume he was frozen out for backing AOB or am I wrong?

Graysons got egg on his face either way, but maybe this will unite the dressing room.

Hopefully he can come back and give us more of what we saw at the King Power (*spit*) Stadium. Looks like he must have been absolutely distraught after his fiancee wouldn't sign the old pre-nup. The only question is whether he can be reconciled with Grayson after the whole "you're never playing for us again, you depressed bastard" ordeal.

Still, his performances on the whole this season have been ****, and not for cheap wages either. Ship him off to Bristol or wherever pronto would be my suggestion.

Against Southampton he was cr$p. Against Leicester, he was as solid as a rock. More to the point, he is better than OD & is of an age where he can teach Lees plenty. Still need a new CB. But if AOB puts in performances akin to that at Leicester, it has to be good for us for this season

I'm a cynic as well, I take a lot of the PR coming out of the club with a pinch of salt. If it's true, I'm sorry to hear about it and hope he works through it. But on a purely footballing side, I don't rate him.

I definitely think there's more to it than him being 'depressed', probably a smokescreen for other issues that have gone on. Sure he was probably down about things that were going on in his personal life, it happens to us all now & again, but we just have to get on with it. There's nothing more galling than a pro footballer on £10k ish a week moaning about his lot in life, saying in effect he doesn't feel like 'working'.
    Man up AOB ffs.
