    Ba's not going anywhere but I'm hearing growing rumors that Best could be on his way out to Everton , Wolves or Bolton...

    rather best go than ba.. plus i think that would mean we would look for another striker on top of the cisse signing.

    I'd put money on it not happening, he's on far too much money for a start. Plus why would we swap an in form striker for him?

    Swapping Carroll for Ba would never happen. Carroll's completely out of form, while Demba is scoring for fun with us. Makes no sense.

    Its amazing, I wont lie I was absolutely gutted when Carroll went, but now a year on I literally couldn't care less and would rather have Ba 100000% more.

    Every aspect of Ba's game is better or just as good as Carroll's IMO, and is a far more likeable and professional character. What an absolute coup man! Seriously hope we can persuade him to stay long term.

    This is Newcastle United when did making sense come into the thinking within our club, i dont think it will happen but wouldnt be surprised in the slightest. Nothing with this club would shock me.

    You use Carroll as the example of why it COULD happen, I instead see it as why it WON'T happen. Do you think their owners would thumbs-up another silly money buy for a striker who's performed for 1/2 a season for us, when every day they have to read how big a bust Carroll's been? No way! Obviously Ba is a better player, but out of principle they wouldn't dare do it again.
