    The decision isnt worth appealing, it was an FA panel who've banned him, they wont change their minds. If the appeal fails we risk a 4 match ban (missing the derby), but he could play on Wednesday. What's your team for Blackburn then? Ba and Cisse will be back, both played 45 mins on Sunday (I think) so doubts over whether they'd be fit. Colo's supposed to be fit too.

    *Cisse on for Ba after 45-60 minutes, as neither should be playing 90 minutes. I dont care if they arent 100% though, I dont want to see Shola starting again barring injury emergency. Raylor over Abeid in midfield as he's done well at DM before and I'm unsure if Abeid is ready yet. Dare I suggest Perch?

    Agree with your points but I think Pards will start Gosling in the middle.

    Agreed with everything except Raylor in CM, he looked a liability there at times against QPR. Abeid for me, so that Guthrie can get forward and be creative. I reckon Pards will pick Gosling though, which I would also not have a problem with.

    When Raylor played CM, I thought he was very good as it wasn't his natural position. He stood out that match but I cant remember which one?

    Agree with this, we will win if this is the lineup. Don't think Ba will start though unfortunetly, and I wouldn't be too sad if Perch started in centre mid, we miss a defensive minded central midfielder.

    I'd like to see more of Gosling because so far he hasn't been impressive. I think this could be a good match to try him out because one of the few things he has shown he can do is make nice subtle runs into the box which might be the sort of connection between midfield and up front that we've been lacking recently.

    * Depending on how Ba looks fitness wise I'd be tempted to try the two of them out together, bringing on Cisse for Best around 65min could be a good try out, but if Ba looks tired then a straight swap of the Dembas as you say, would work.

    Forgot about Gosling, but it would restrict Guthrie as Gosling isnt a defensive player, he likes to make runs into the box. I wouldnt mind him playing though, there's 5 potential options I reckon: Vuckic, Gosling, Raylor, Abeid, Perch.

    Chelsea last season? Impressed me in that game and I thought he was OK against QPR.

    That formation would be alright with Obertan on the right wing, I think he'd handle the Blackburn defense alright - didn't he get an assist and set up an assist in the reverse fixture?

    Sadly I can see Shola getting another game if Ba & Cisse aren't available though.

    If Colo is out then I would trust Abeid. He did alright against a fairly strong Blackburn team last time round, according people on here. Vuckic is maybe too attacking?

    I do think Perch should be considered. He was our best player against Brighton IMO and hasnt looked bad in midfield, not to mention Blackburn are hardly going to dominate midfield. Vuckic is too attacking to play with Guthrie, if it was Tiote it would be OK but not in this instance.
