I honestly believe we will still be a in the PL next season as there are atleast five teams below our standard and i hope we can pick up a CB before the end of the transfer window.

there is nobody worse missing sitters than sinclair and danny this season aussie, dobbie to be fair has had no playing time to accuse him of missing sitters ,,,,,,I would play dobbie just behind danny but not until sometime during the second half as he is not a good starter and cant last 90 minutes but he has his assets that can boost our chances for 20 -30 minutes if needed....

no wonder Dobbie cant last 90 minutes Dai, he never gets a run, only in the reserves. so i agree with your point but match fitness against the best is the way of honing said fitness. thai if BR doesnt go for it tonight its madness, no terry, lampard, drogba, alex has gone

I don't get the fuss over Dobbie. I'd say, given the performances he's had so far, Buck doesn't rate him highly enough for him to feature regularly. There's probably about 7 or 8 midfield connotations, maybe more, that I'd expect to see before seeing one that included Dobbie? So he shoots a lot?! Big deal! He also loses possession more than the rest of the squad combined!

"Probably" being the key word. I could say he'd "probably" give the ball away loads, leading to more chances for the opposition teams than if we'd have gone with any other midfielder. Buck clearly has his reasons, good enough for me. Tom Butler scored from 25 yards against Sheffield United once, maybe we should have kept him too!

I sort of agree Dai, but I think he at least needs to play 45 minutes and then soon enough he'll be fine with the full 90 minutes. But Scott I believe he brings something to our game which we don't have without him. We always have plenty of chances with him on the field!

obviously scott is a dobbie hater, loves the tip tap, hates the shots on goal (which are sadly lacking), i say give the guy 5 games to prove himself or sell him. i dont see allen, routledge, gower, britton, sinclair stepping up to it

He fits in well with our pass pass style though Musty it's just that he's often prepared to run with the ball and shoot rather than try and pass it into the back of the net. (i'm not knocking passing it into the back of the net but the variety is good and keeps opposition on their toes)

    Yes. Obviously.

I hate no-one, because it's football, and such emotions are almost exclusively retarded. Maybe in cases of racism/general scummery, but because of someones ability? Never.

I don't rate Dobbie in our system, and I've explained this a million times. In a nutshell, he gives the ball away too much and isn't disciplined enough. Ok, he shoots lots and that does benefit our attacking play, but I don't think it outweighs the negatives he creates and therefore agree with Bucks decision. I've no problem admitting he was one of, if not our most important player during the run-in last season, but it's an awful lot easier to cover someones defensive frailties in the Championship compared to the Premier League.

I DO love the tip tap though, because it's the way we play and I'm proud of it. If you don't like it you're going to be frustrated for a long time as it's here to stay so best stop moaning about it.

...You're entitled to your view Scott, but to put Dobbie in the same sentence as Butler is laughable.

    Now there's a nice nitty gritty point . Teams played twice now .. Chelsea , Sunderland , Arsenal & Villa ... 7 points from a possible 12 , looking good !!

As much as it pains me to say, I think you'll stay up relatively comfortably.

what i will say Scott is brilliant effort by the Swans to hold a 42-58% deficit, 7-20 shots on goal deficit, 5-10 shots off goal deficit and a 1-11 corner deficit. yes it was chelsea but they were missing a few big names and i read (i dont know if true or not) that graham was piss poor and missed a couple of sitters, however, as the thread says, a nitty gritty performance.

Scotty, Dobbie scored 9 League goals last season, and Moore scored 3? This season Dobbie has been frozen out by Rodgers, but Moore has not, but how many League goals has Moore scored this season? well it's a big 1, sometimes managers don't get it right, and clearly Rodgers has cut down our goal threat by favouring Moore, as Dobbie is by far a greater goal threat than Moore will ever be, and so what if Dobbie doesn't back track or lose the ball, seem to remember Gower losing the ball plenty of times this season, but that didn't stop Rodgers playing him, now did it!..............
