    Hammill without doubt, would be more than happy with madine or Henderson, too.

    The guy that said butterfield- he's out for the season.

    I'd be happy with Hammill coming in, it looked like a done deal and I'm disappointed that it didn't happen.

    That said, as a realistic signing for £2m odd and as I think we need a striker more than a wide man, I'd go for Gary Madine.

    To be honest, I'm not entirely sure, I assume we bid lower than we expected to pay(expecting to negotiate), then we decided we didn't need him and things dragged on and we decided not to up it further.

    If that's true, I wonder that the hell has happened this month to convince the management we don't need new players if they previously thought we did.
