Excuse me, I said "I thought Cooper and Cairney were our top performers yesterday, as was Olofinjana when he came on and although that's not saying much, they should be criticized far behind many others." I'm not that bad But I will issue a public apology to you tickler, I wasn't in the best of moods after watching that ****e and the fact that I was drinking before, during and after the game probably didn't help. So yes.. apologies.
your a cnut burgess. cooper has had two solid games since he came back. why get on his back you fcuking cretin!
Have to agree with OLM, JD and premiertiger, the lad has done nothing wrong. But even more so I agree with Erik. We do treat young players like ****, partly the club by giving them such limited chances (Emerton?) but also the fans. Cullen in particular, he may be 20 or 21 now but in terms of experience he's a foetus (due to the fault of the club, injuries and other factors). Everyone is obsessed with Cullen's offsides but when it's Fryatt (who can be offside from the most bizarre positions, such as when dropping deep for a pass) no one cares. He is one player who has a lot of talent but is treat as a joke by fans. Give these lads a chance.
20 in April mind. Barely 18 when he scored vs Wigan, which depresses me considering I turned 19 about a fortnight ago
No worries mate, me neither if i am honest,, with my ""knee-jerkers"" comments. But having to spend the whole game, then humbersides phone in and reading the many moaners and groaners MY mood changed. FFS, its one game and a cup game for that matter. When the first team lose like that to a team like that then i would accept it more. But some of those who played saturday have not played much at all this season and they are unlikely to ever play again as a team like that. We move on now.
At least we can concentrate on the league now, hopefully bounce back and continue the mini run of form we've had to earn us those back-to-back wins. Doncaster and Portsmouth should be a reasonably easy 6 points, especially without Sharp, but you know what City are like I'm half expecting two draws. Anyway, best friends now?
You think it's bad? Mannone Rosenior, Chester, Hobbs, Dudgeon Evans, Cairney King, Brady, Stewart Fryatt I'm older than every player in that team. We're only Koren and McKenna getting injured in the next few weeks away from playing it.
well I suppose at 28 though you'd get used to it. I'm at the age now where I'm older or the same age as youngsters who are starting to break into the team, usually I've been younger and the thought hadn't occured to me. e.g. When Rooney scored against Arsenal for Everton at 16, I was only about 9 so I didn't appreciate how young 16 was, now at 19 it gets a bit depressing
Not really, you have landmark moments. The first is the one you're having where there's starting to be players younger than you in the team. The next one is where the whole of your team is younger than you, and the one after that is where both teams, both managers, and all the officials are.
The next one is when you're older than the manager, then the kit man, then that old bloke who stands by the players entrance.
And after that the realisation that you're not going to make it in the game hits you, so you kill them all before turning the gun on yourself.
He was solid against a very poor Ipswich and against a league two side. He should have been a standout player in those matches going by how he played in the prem. He is a shadow of his former self. If you think otherwise you are deluded. He will never live up to the potential he showed when he first broke through.
then the same could be said about hobbs. who plays every week and therefore is fitter and sharper than cooper. this is the most ridiculous thread i've ever read. like i said earlier, your a cretin. #knowthegamefool
