Sandaza would be a decent signing. Watched him the St Johnstone vs Rangers match on SkySports and he was a handfull... mind you would the SPL experiment work again (Elliott decent, Duffy not so much). Liam Hearn looks decent; but I think we should try loan him with a view to a permanant; in case he can't hack it at this level, the one I'd really love City to go in for who's realistic in fees is Kris Boyd ( a free agent). Except for his time at Middlesborough; he's scored goals everywhere he's been (including 6 in 10 games for Forest last year).
A mate of mine plays golf at the same club as Nick and I have it on good authority that Nicks going to keep faith with the players who have stuck by the club. He wants to stamp his vision on the team and the likely starting line up is; ...........................Oxley.......................... East...........Bradley.........Cooper...,....Daws Garcia..........Cairney........Oli............Devitt ................Cullen..........McLean................ We'll scare the **** out of Donny! Nicks taking the championship seriously trust me
---------------Mannone----------------- Rosenior----Hobbs----Chester---- Dawson Evans---- Mckenna Stewart--------- Koren-------------Brady Mclean Subs - Carson.. Dudgeon.. King.. Simpson.. Fryatt Wind 'em up in the dressing room before hand Nicky.....and........... Attack! Attack! Attack!
And I said before he came that I didn't want him playing out wide, the best way we can use him is the one up front with Koren, Simpson, Stewart, Brady, McLean, or Fryatt working off him. With Brady out, on Tuesday we should go with: Mannone Rosenior, Chester, Hobbs, Dawson Evans, McKenna McLean, Koren, Stewart King Subs: Carson, Cooper, Dudgeon, Fryatt, Simpson (might have him in for McLean)
I can't believe some people are putting Adebola in their team, if he can't make a seven bench for a second string squad in the cup, he's definitely not going to be involved in a league game, he'll probably have gone by tomorrow anyway. I think Nick will probably revert to our standard starting XI with either Mclean or Fryatt up top, though personally, I'd definitely give King a go.
I'd like to see King start and get his fitness back. Only then will you be able to judge his performances. So give him a bit of time. I'm not a fan of play one man up front on his own and playing the other frontman out wide. It's an odd tactic. Hopefully our wingers relish this game and i can see us been able to get at Donny. They seem to play it around a bit rather than sticking 10 men behind the ball. Just hope we can score goals because you know Sharpe can score goals and can win any game in this division given the chance. There'll be no Peterbororugh style let off with him upfront. I'll go for the same old prediction 1-0 City.
Carson Rosenior - Chester - Cooper - Dawson McKenna - Olofinjana Roary Koren Stewart Simpson None of those useless ****ing ****s from Saturday or I might be sick on them, pathetic arse wipes. Cooper an Oli were really the only ones who could take anything positive away from that **** piss poor excuse for a football match, possibly Cairney too.
Well i would guess that NB will start with the same team and subs that played and Won @ Reading. One possible change could well be Olifinjana on the bench, but for who ?
This is my team. It's based on the fact that we're struggling to enforce a proper 4-3-3 in recent games. As a result, the 1 up front has no support and has to fight on his own. McLean is far more suited to that role than Fryatt. Hence: Mannone Rosenior - Chester - Hobbs - Dawson McKenna - Evans King - Koren - Stewart McLean Subs: Carson - Dudgeon - Cairney - Brady - Fryatt
I think the only reason myself and others are putting big Dele in the team is because of his height. As mentioned before from my recollection of the Donny away game; they had a big CB like Crawley did; so someone who can match him is needed in my eyes. Still saying Simpson from the start; change things a bit. Let him prove that he can score goals like he did for Millwall instead of leaving someone we signed for £1million + in the stands. That would be the boot up the a** that people think Fryatt desperately needs.
same team as Reading away last week. It won the game for those who may have forgotton. Lol. chill out, its only the cup, ffs.
