I don't see us losing anybody. our biggest assets i.e. tiote, krul, Ba, Ben arfa, Colo, Cabaye seem unlikely to leave for a variety of reasons. Ba can't play for another club this year due to regulations, tiote is still away and would cost the earth to buy. Ben arfa is just getting back to fitness and is still proving himself, Colo is finalising buying a new gaff according to someone in the know, Cabaye has only just arrived and seems very content. Krul is loving life as being No1 and is relishing the opportunity.

No one is buying this window...I feel it will be very boring.

It is weird that there are games being played tomorrow night.

Are we still the highest spenders?

This is a very strange window.

not sure how much chlsea are spending on de bruyn (spelling?) but i think we've sent the single highest amount on a player, however i would expect QPR to have a late flurry and spend more that £10m in total by the close of the window.

Not worried about the possibility of being disappointed at the end of the transfer window it's taken for granted these days. Has been ever since Ashley bought the club (with the exception of the January window in 2010).

If a local lad that accepted the number 9 shirt and said he wanted to spend the rest of his career her left on the last day after swearing he wouldn't leave, then I'm not happy until it's over.

It's about time your Ma took you to the Doc's to see about getting your bowel movement problem sorted out.

I don't think that's true. As far as I know the rule is that you can't play for 3 clubs in a season, but he never actually played for West Ham this season, so he could still move.

Might be wrong on the rule, though.

You're right, he hasn't played for West Ham this year. Also, because he joined on a free, he's not actually been at West Ham for even 1 day in 2011/12 season - his contract expired on 30th June, 1 day before 2011/12 officially begun.

What regulations?? He signed for Newcastle before the season started and hasn't been loaned out so has only played for one club this season??

Would've liked to have been wrong about that one... Oh well, let's hope he stays.

If he's going (and I'm yet to be convinced of that), it'll be in the summer. Release clauses etc. means it's very unlikely he'd leave before then.

Im not worried at all. Not only has it been a boring january transfer window on the majority (although if you look at the trend theres one big spending one always followed by one relatively low one) but we're in a lot better position than previous seasons.

We're not just a mid table club with a couple of start individuals. We're joint 5th with Arsenal and 4 off Chelsea... Above Liverpool.
Thats a lot less reasons for people wanting to leave.

I'll just be pretty gutted if they dont get a new CB in, even on loan.

    It's been around 4 weeks. 28 days.

    1520 / 28 = 54.

So on average I post around 54 times a day. It's not really that much. It only takes me 20 seconds normally to post a comment really.

I just like to comment often when I'm on here. And remember, sometimes I get in late night discussions like the one on eBar the other day, and those can take up 50-100 posts in just that discussion, as I'm replying to several people at once.

I'm not that worried. I think Ashley will realise that we have the potential to qualify for Europe if we buy one more player and don't let anyone leave. Europe would mean £££££ for Ashley and Ashley likes £££££ and he's a clever business man so I think he won't sell anyone and that he'll buy a CB. Unless we get offered stupid money then he'll sell and I wouldn't be bothered as long as he has a replacement lined up instantly. I'm feeling quite relaxed this year.
