Can't believe we've not strengthened the defence- what's going on??? I'll be seriously pissed off if we don't sign a CB by tomorrow. A RB would be useful as well. Thompson's done well, I've been impressed with him, but we've no cover there as Connolly's frozen out. And I'm sorry, I've seen O'Dea over 30 times for us & Ipswich and he's simply not good enough, not even as cover.
****ing what do you expect pal you know **** all about football Gyms going okay, salads are so boring tho
Morning all, fingers crossed for a decent signing coming in tomorrow. Interesting to see SG's latest reaction & comment as to why he didn't bring Smithy back. Seems fair enough to me. Also supports the oft heard comment that at this stage he's after players who will go straight into the starting XI, which, given Smith's lack of game time, would not be the case.
Mate, I bet its a nightmare, I for one am dreading the KFC im going to go through at lunch time. But i spose its all for the greater good eh?!
Good to see you two getting along so well! Afternoon Boggers, I'm not holding my breath regarding signings. Expect to hear from a 'frustrated Simon Grayson' Wednesday morning & a dive into the emergency loan window. I think the best we can hope for is extending Delphs loan deal, which will be a great bit of business if we can get him until the end of the season.
I am very well thank you but then Mondays are always a day off for me and Leeds never lost over the weekend Worrying as I used the words "can we afford" without really thinking about it. Yes of course we can afford to but for so long it has been apparent that we won't/don't compete in the transfer market that my mindset is tuning into "can't afford" when I know damn well we can. I don't think it is a case of inflating prices for a defender. Wes Morgan leaving Forest for Leicester for a million as he is out of contract at the end of the year, I think that is a pretty good deal, we should have about that sitting in the bank from the Howson sale, why did we not nip in? Howson out for Delph in on loan and Wes Morgan in on a contract, I would have felt that was a nice bit of business. While we watch those around us strengthen their squads and we get weaker. Assume we don't go up; we lose the loans and we are left with holes all over the pitch and then the talk shifts to Clayton and Snodgrass running contracts down or sell and cash in. We are left with a lesser squad than what managed to get us promoted and that is if we haven't already got that.
The last KFC I had still had bits of the feathers on, almost gagged. At least that proves its chicken!
