I like the "19 league titles" stat
and Real Madrid's "9 European titles" stat, thats 4 more than Liverpool and yes 1000 more than UTDs, but its still better than Liverpools and that's what matters :)

Lol, good to see no one could resist turning it into a pissing contest!

    ----------Reina
    -Kelly-Agger-Skrtel-Enrique-
    ------Lucas-Gerrard
    --Maxi---Suarez---Bellamy
    ----------Kuyt

Obviously questions over whether Kuyt can do the business up front, but I still think if Liverpool actually played him as a striker in that formation rather than a winger he'd be a better goalscorer than anyone you've got at the moment. You could switch Kuyt and Bellamy, but Bellamy's much better in that wide position.

That would be a good way to spend a super injunction.

I think Kuyt's days up front are pretty numbered. I'd actually play Carroll right now.

If you flick a page or so back before the bitching, I posted an interesting take on the United team, if you care to look.

This thread is actually quite mild and reserved compared to some of the rubbish spouted on here in the last couple of days(by both sets of fans), anyway here's my UTD best 11.

    Lindegard
    Smalling
    Jones
    Vidic
    Evra
    Young
    Cleverly
    Fletcher
    Nani
    Rooney
    Hernandez

So basically, he's just good in the air. Bacary Sagna is the best RB in the league, that graph proves it.

So Glen Johnson is better than Ashley Cole you're saying? and where's Micah Richards, and Luke Young for that matter? <grr>

    Lindegaard

    Rafael, Smalling, Vidic, Evra

    Valencia, Carrick, Jones, Nani

    Rooney, Welbeck

Lots of questionable things there though. Rafael's temperament, the middle of the park, Nani on the left and Welbeck's consistency.

Surely then the answer would be to drop rafael, play Valencia at RB, Nani on the right, and Young on the left? And pick Berbatov ahead of Welbeck.

No it doesn't, that graph clearly shows Johnson at least 0.3% above Sagna. Are you blind?<cheers>

The only problem with shunting Bellamy out to LW/LM is you deny him access to easy shots on his left foot. He's got to come inside, check back onto his left foot and shoot. If he's RM/RW, he naturally steps inside to shoot. But this is also where Dirk is effective. IMO, Bellamy up and Dirk right, Downing left is probably the best way to get the best out of each of them together.

    ---------Lindegaard
    Valencia - Rio - Vidic - Fabio
    Nani - Carrick - Fletcher - Young
    ------Rooney - Berbatov------

I just don't rate Evra anymore, not just because of the Suarez incident, but because he makes regular errors and his pace, which is still good, isn't what it was and can't get him out of trouble like it used to.
I wanted Nani and Valencia in the side, and this was the only way I could see how to figure it out...
The front line is pretty much self-selecting. For all his languid mannerisms, Berbatov knows where the goal is FFS - why he isn't getting regular footie is a mystery, but may relate to hiding the manager's filing cabinet keys...
