I'm not knocking you Scarborough, but I think you're being a tad harsh! All fans get frustrated when they lose, Hull are no different mate
It's me, I really don't mind losing because the most important thing to me is being able to get to games....
1) Show me where I have ever said we'll walk the league 2) Crawley beating Hull isn't a 'giant killing act'. The only difference between the two clubs is about 35 league positions. 3) 'Cry like a Leicester supporter' 4) Keep saying that you're above us, i'll end up digging them all out when we take over you 5) I tend to think that games against Swindon and the like are less important than going to be a part of the happiest day of my friend's life. although as a Hull fan i'm sure you'd relish a game against Swindon, what with your clashes back in your League one and two days, how long do you think this patch of punching above your weight will last? When will you find yourself locking horns with Hartlepool, Oldham, Swindon and the like again?
Swindon fan in peace, I would like to thank all those concerned at Leicester City Football Club, from the police, to the stewards for a great day out. also to all the Leicester fans after the match, who were easy to get on with and were very complimentry about Swindon. Its pretty unusually to speak highly off stewards in some grounds but yours were brilliant, polite and not over bearing and the "i am" type. Im sorry that there was a few knob heads in amongst our support , but you get that where ever you go. I was told that Leicester police were going to be over the top, but to my joy they were friendly and very helpful and they must have created chaos when escorting all our coaches out of your City. I thought the game was a great game , we had chances but i have to admit that the 2 chances you had you took very well, on the day you were the better team, but we gave you a run for your money. We now are looking forward to promotion and a trip to Wembley in the paint pot trophy, hopfully, but i wish you luck in the next round and maybe a push for the play-offs to the premier.
Keep playing like you did on saturday and you'll be in this league before you know it. As for bus escorting, we had something like a 40+ bus line being escorted out of Nottingham city centre in the 3rd round. I've not seen anything like it before and the look on the faces of those stuck in traffic was priceless. Good luck with promotion and Wembley, I like Di Canio he's how a manager should be.
Good to hear that you had a good day out. Regarding your team, you were more of a threat than Southampton and Forest put together, if we hadn't scored early on, it would have been a bump rid. Some of your efforts on goal were...interesting, but the build up play was superb. To be honest, carry on playing like that in the league next year and I think you may be looking at two successive promotions.
