It really has been dull. With the exception of the Cisse, and Cahill transfers. I don't think there have been any 'big' signings at all. It's actually been quite easy to forget the window is open.

And, to the OP. Hello, welcome to the site. I notice you are new. You live anywhere near Kirkcudbright?

Pretty sure that won't happen. Think he might go in the summer mind.

On many occasions, I have forgotten that it's open. There's hardly even been any gossip.

I know but there is no smoke without fire. Eventually we will lose him but I really hope not.

It's lazy journalism. Essien has just come back from injury and they have Romeu, they don't need him.

Hope you're right! I'll be very surprised if we don't sell someone.

Aye, eventually. So will Cabaye, and Krul, and Ba, and Cisse. Eventually.

Except there very often is when this 'smoke' is transfer speculation. Also dry ice.

The only 'big' transfers have been overseas. Particularly Honda to Lazio. I hope it stays quiet to be honest, then we can keep all the players we have now, i'd rather that than bring one in but end up selling one (not that i think we will sell anybody).

None of the top teams are desperate enough at the mo to shell out the price that we'd be asking for Tiote (our board is '****ing horrible' remember) especially when he may still be away for a month if Ivory coast go all the way in the ACON. We may well lose him in summer but it would be very silly, and difficult, for a team to buy him now.
