How would you like a size 11 Irish boot up your Welsh ass musty , nor sure if you can understand that or not Musty ...Lol !!
Annoyed by that result (although it's cliche time...it's the Premier league that counts) at Bolton.....sounds as though we should have won it Lets hope Chelsea feel our frustration and these possession stats translate to winning runs
Annoyed? Nah. Disappointed? A little. It's hard to be too disappointed though, because our main priority is the league. All of our "first team" were rested today, so will be fully fit to face a maligned Chelsea side and to be honest I think I prefer it that way, irrespective of result. If we'd have won, brilliant... if not... ah well. Always next year!
i was tempted to go but once BR said that he'd be "putting a team out that he feels can win the game". i was glad i'd decided to stay at home. that's the same statement that he made before the wigan game last year and i've not been to a cup game since. the wigan trip was a nightmare from start to finish and until i see some commitment to the cup games, i won't be giving any myself. it seems obvious to me that the league is much more important to the club and rightly so at the moment. once we're established at this level, then maybe we can kick on and have a go at the cups. until then, it's just a side show.
i thought the same after the posh game where he thanked the fans for travelling so far on a tuesday night. so almost 5000 of us went to wigan to watch him play almost a second string team in a game that we could have and really wanted to win.
He always says he puts a team out he thinks is 'capable of winning'. He may well believe that I don't know, but I'm not so sure. 'Capable of winning' maybe, 'likely to win', no.
the only mistake he made is not playing vorm imo, bolton were not very good and we gifted them the second goal when we were starting to take control......
