i have been to a couple of reserve matches dragon and the standard is nothing to write home about, there are players who are just kids with some has beens and the odd big name coming back from injury in these big name clubs, Bodde would benefit from a regular routine of competitive matches instead of kick about game of football. as i have said if the club has the confidence in bodde then cut to the chase and allow him to prove his worth with a loan move for the rest of the season...what have we or bodde got to lose.....
I know Dai, I've had my fair share of them, they can't get any worse than watching Matty Collins, and O'Leary, now that's something to make your eye's water!............
Dai you seem to want Bodde to fail. You just cannot bear watching the Swansea investment in faith continue. Bodde is not fit as you put it. Nor does he have confidence. He is better served here for at least another month. You have made your point clear enough about Bodde and you just want to be proved right. Roughly translated you are actually saying "we have spent enough on this player, send him to division 1 for a team that plays hoofball, let him get clattered, and then I can gloat and say "I told you so!"" Change the tune mate. What do we have to lose by keeping him here where we can keep an eye on him? Nothing.
I agree that going on loan is a bad idea, the guy needs to build slowly and not be thrust into frontline action in L1, his fitness probably isnt at the level to play first team football yet anyway, he would be required to do his fair share of the hardwork if he was playing first team football and that might mean that he over exerts himself and picks up an unrelated knock, that will slow him down further. Best thing is to let him build in the reserves and gain the level slowly and methodicly then hopefully he will be fighting fit come pre-season,he needs to get use to kicking a ball and half paced reserve games are better than the rough and tumble of L1 football. If it was any other player Dai i would agree with you but being out 3 yrs means its the slow and safe road for Ferrie,no point cutting corners now ,aim for nexr pre seaon and reserve football this season.
I want bodde to fail..... now how the hell can you come to that conclusion????? Have i said i want him to fail ????? how stupid are you. I want him to do the best he can and im a REALISTIC who have watched football for well over 50+ years and in all that time there has been far better than bodde that tried and failed to match their standard they were before they were injured and half the time out of the game.....I dont want him to fail i know he will fail to be the same standard as 4 years ago.......and like it or not his standard will be nowhere near good enough.....thats the way the cookie crumbles im afraid.....
Better to wait till the cookie actually crumbles before announcing it 99 . Bodde could be better than before for all you & your 50 years of football knows . Most people on here never say he going to be as good , just hoping . It's you with the crystal ball saying he can't be .
If bodde fails or succeeds i want it to happen while playing for us and not anyone else. Just to see him play a full game for the first team would be fantastic iff Rogers picks him next season it would be a big crowd pleaser for as long as he lasts.
Bodde stretchered off! Well sorry to say, but that's it, the game is up for the evil genius!.........
Apparently its his knee again ! said he went in for a seemingly nothing challenge then went down hurt Its a shame for him,but its not unexpected either TBH
