    It seems that the media has some kind of prophetic knowledge that given Ba's clause, means that it is impossible for Newcastle to offer him a better contract and that he wants to stay for whatever reason.

    I suspect Ba may leave if we don't get into europe at least. You have to understand if he gets an offer for champions league football and winning honours he WILL want to try it. Hopefully we will get in europe and none of the top 4 want him. Simple as that really.

    Still think there are a lot of clubs who won't want to take the risk if a fee is involved.

    The media make me laugh. When we signed Ba the Mirror made is out to be a laughing stock, we'd signed some useless, permanently injured lump. Less than 6 months later, the same paper saying a big team will come in for him. Stupid.

    I don't even care anyore because our problems are going to rise again in a window not far away I'm sure of it. We won't maintain progression and the only way for us now is down the table.
