Thank goodness we can forget about the FA cup and league cup for another year! at least we can focus on the league which will hopefully play into our hands now. I was sceptical about Mariappa he was superb against spurs, and had real pace. Would be a good addition, you'd have to say him and Cisse make good business this January.
I don't think it's a massive surprise it's happened in a lot of ways. As people have said Ashley likes to gamble, Europe is this gamble. If we make it, summer will be good, if we slip down the league, I'd expect a lot of sales.
