I agree that he looked by far the best striker on the pitch today, and when you consider that he was playing non league football not too long ago, that says much more about our strikers than it does about him!
If our strikers had that chance (the one he scored from) it would have ended up in the stands, in the near post side netting or rolling pathetically towards the keeper at a snails pace. Come on Nick get your head out of your arse and sign a goalscorer like Tubbs.
Still not sure he is the answer, it would cost almost a million to get him and fair enough he scored yesterday, but could he do it week in week out at this level, the strikers we have now struggle and are allegedly proven at this level . Personally I think a million is a big gamble for a player two divisions down .
