    Shola's been good, Ben Arfa's passing a bit loose (with the exception of the pass for the Simpson chance), Simpson attacking but his final ball has been poor. Santon's defending suggests he lost a bit of confidence after Fulham. I reckon its daft playing passing football if we must play Shola though - just like Mandy at Liverpool, the play doesn't suit him. Either play nice football with Lovenkrands, or more direct football to Ameobi. Give it ten minutes, then bring on Lovenkrands for Shola or Leon Best.

    Maybe I'm a bit biased, but in the case of a lot of those giveaways, I really don't see what options he had at his disposal. Too often Best and Shola seem too busy watching Ben Arfa beat his man, rather than make some incisive runs of their own (Simpson made the best attacking run of anyone in the half)

    Waddle's accent is horrendous. He tries to talk "posh" and says things like "shipe" several times..... What a knacker.

    I guess...I just see Ben Arfa beat someone, then try and beat them again, rather than play a simple pass. he seems to run into trouble and then play the wrong pass. But, like someone said, he is trying to create something. Maybe if he links up with Jonas a bit more....

    Did they just call Santon the worst LB they've ever seen?! Agree, didn't look particularly confident in the first half (or last week), but I don't know what basis they have for saying that?

    I really like the way we're playing to be honest, passing it about very well which I hadn't really seen (or noticed?) in the first few months of the season. Our problem is just in the final third - which should be solved by Ba and Cisse coming next week.

    Jonas works very well in the free role and although Ben Arfa hasn't done a lot you can see potential and he just needs a bit of space and movement in other forwards for him to pass to (e.g. Ba and Cisse).

    Shola's doing alright, as is Best. Santon is great going forward but needs a bit of work in defence.

    Hopefully we'll get a goal or two next half then!

    Ben Arfa is coming inside too much. Means Simpson has to get forward more, meaning Guthrie and Cabaye need to drop deeper. We need more width.

    Not sure what people want Shola to do. He's been one of the better players.
