You can't think of any **** Leicester joke players? Jesus, there's been enough! You could start with Akinbiyi, Elivis Hammond is a good one because of his stupid name and he was ****, Frank Sinclair, who was actually quite good but seemed to score a home goal every week or Jack Hobbs.

I seem to remember a radio commentator for Leicester at the time saying Junior Lewis was THE WORST player ever to wear a Leicester shirt. Can you imagine a player that bad that the radio commentators rip into him?

I said I couldn't be bothered to think of a joke player that applied to both teams (like Lewis). Frank Sinclair though, he is the protaganist of most football blunder DVDs.

There was one own goal in particular that was so comical in the way he was falling over backwards and the same time backheeling it into the goal (I think) and he was getting in the way of the other defenders and keeper by falling over. Anyone watching from the stand could see what was happening but for those involved in the box it was almost unavoidable.

Of course. I'm mixing it up with Walshy's great lob of Keller against Arsenal in 1997.

Not easily wound up Benjamin then lol. The thing is, as a Leicester fan I find my place in football and accept that our local rivals like Derby and Forest can laugh at us as their history far outshines us. However, our history compared to Hull's well... we look like Barcelona. Remind me, have you been to watch your team play in European football competition away from home???

History does matter because it makes you who you are today. Does it have any bearing on who finishes higher out of Leicester and Hull?

No it doesnt. If you say history doesnt matter so would you rather Hull had the history of Man U, Liverpool or the MK Dons

Yeah, Blackburn Olympic, Royal Engineers and Clapham Rovers still dine out on their illustrious Cup histories that outweigh so many clubs.

I thank you all for the compliments though, as you point out, despite us having a long history, it's not one bedecked with jewells, it makes our support all the more worthy and victories all the more pleasurable. <ok>
