With QPR and Chelsea due to play each other later today, and with the ongoing saga involving alleged racist remarks having been made by Terry to
Anton Ferdinand, what would be your stance when you meet, would you shake Terry's hand or give him the cold shoulder.
From my point of view i would completely blank the guy. What's your opinion. Whichever way it goes it will add a bit of spice to the game.

Ferdinand obviously feels very strongly about the whole issue otherwise he wouldn't have made the allegations. Therefore I can't see how he can shake his hand, it would be a very hollow gesture and to be honest I think it is wrong of people to suggest he should do. Strange how for the second time
someone is not going to shkae John Terry's hand because of something he has said or done. Not really a good role model as captain of England.

Am I alone in finding Terry a total cock of a bloke?

Good defender on his day and great team player (he'd even bang your wife if you were a team mate) but as a man, utterly detestable.

Why doesn't Anton shock us and just nut the twat. Not the way forward but it would give me a hearty chuckle. JT gets away with everything.

this is far too important an issue to be reduced to a will he/wont he shake hands question. That's just the tabloids stirring up a story. This will turn out to be a landmark case in the fight against racism in football. Personally I admire Anton for sticking to his guns so far, he has brought massive pressure on himself and it must be affecting him and his family. I wish him well and hope it all turns out right for him.

I don't know Terry personally, have never met the man, nor do I have any desire to do so. That's nowt to do with him being a "cockney" as I have some good friends & family in the London area. And let's not forget, he's not as yet been found guilty of anything.

However, the bloke does come over as a very dislikable person. Whatever he did say to Anton has obviously hurt him to a very high degree & the police & the CPS think criminal charges have taken place or it would not have gone to court. I did make my feelings clear on this yesterday.

I can't see Anton shaking his hand TBH & hope he doesn't.

This might not be the way forward but would teach the Racist **** a lesson, I mean what would happen if he's found guilty by the Courts a fine probably which ain't going to make one ounce of difference with all his money, where as Anton sticking the nut on him might just make him think.
    AntiFA by any means neccersary

The maximum punishment he can be given under the crime he has been charged is a £2500 fine. That's a fact mate.

He'd have got a lot more had the FA handled it.

Will he still not face FA charges no matter the outcome of the criminal case? I thought that they where just waiting for the criminal case to be over.

It went to the police, then the CPS Froggy. Whatever the outcome at court, that will be the end of it.

Pity the FA can't censure him for bringing the game in to disrepute if he's found guilty. Hopefully at the least this is the end of his England career.

I don't think that shaking hands is an option for Anton from the moment that Sepp Blatter opened his mouth and said that racist remarks can be just shrugged off at the end of the game with a handshake. He has to make a stand and show that it can't - in fact I would go further and say that the whole QPR side should refuse, incuding the mascots
