After reading the post about online bookies it got me wondering if there are any other horse racing enthusiasts on here. I thought that if there were we could have a thread for posting any tips or fancies for the racing during the week! If there isnt then ill just stick to finding my own!

Ill start with a treble i have on for the weekend: 2.15 Leopardstown - Hidden Cyclone, 3.40 Cheltenham - Big Bucks and Hurricane Fly in the irish champion hurdle on sunday at leopardstown. Not great odds but a pretty sure thing i would say!

For anyone interested in a different night out there is a horse race meeting at the the Hornsea Masonic Lodge, Alexandra Road (behind the Alexandra pub) on Saturday night. Tickets at a fiver each include race card and a buffet supper are available on the door. First race (The Falcon Inn Handicap) is at 7.30 pm. There is also a bar. All proceeds will be donated to support the RNLI SOS appeal. Binoculars and owners colours are optional.

My auntie P has stables in Woodmansey, her husband is a trainer and they own several race horses.

I bumped into her at Beverley races and she gave me several tips. They all finished either last, or second to last.

Just back the bugger who's won the most races previously.
