You are completely jumping the gun here. Nowhere have I condoned this kind of behaviour I am merely trying to explain it. Do you honestly believe most Chelsea fans share the views that the eccentric minority have on a social networking site that is meant for provocation? If you can find me one genuine Chelsea fan on this forum that shares those views I will quit this forum, but I guarantee you won't because the vast majority as in 99.999% of Chelsea fans disagree with the racist abuse Anton is facing. Views on social networking sites have a tendency to be exagerrated, anyone can say anything behind a computer screen. Go and ask that Wolves STH that was banned by them for racial abuse. He sounded genuinely remoreseful and I doubt he upheld these views but nonetheless he was dealt with. Chelsea through and through mate, but I'm a football fan and this whole thing saddens me, it's not what football is about. This is the reason why everyone is now having full body searches going into the ground, they are checking people for guns. Its getting to the point where they should ban their fans from the ground tomorrow.
And in reference to QPR17's post I've also seen these facebook groups that have abused Anton and I've also seen posts from unofficial BNP groups and other people with far right views trying to latch on to this incident as a weapon to spread their hate. All I ask is for people to be open minded about this and not speculate too much until we know the facts. For those that instantly assume and blame Chelsea fans for the bullet incident I ask you this: "Does it not alarm you in anyway that after joint club statements released trying to calm down tensions between the two sets of fans, less than 24 hours before the game is scheduled to kick off and supporters arrive in West London in their droves this bullet has been sent? Call me cynical but I find it too much of a coincidence. Had this happened before Anton was due to give his statement to the FA or CPS? Or even before Terry was due to be in court I could understand but it seems odd to me. The cynic in me would not be surprised if this was perhaps done by the media or fans of other clubs to stir tensions. I am not yet 100% convinced the person sent it was a genuine Chelsea fan
Why let a minority or one or two people ruin it for hundreds of thousands of people, has anyone yet been caught with a gun or a weapon? Most are just there to watch and enjoy football and have a good day out with family/friends etc, we're not all cage animals. Social networking causes more problems than it solves in my view. And footballer's using it is one of the biggest problems clubs and the police are having to face.

Exactly and Ive never seen one of their fans blame him. By backing him they are supporting racism and thats why Id have no problem if they FA banned them from travelling. Somehow in their little brains its all Ferdinands fault.

Guys, just reading this now. Gobsmacked.The simple truth is that there are idiots in all walks of life. The person(s) who sent this are simply cowards. In my heart i know that the vast majority of Chelsea fans are football loving decent people.District line, you need to cop onto the fact that you are on a QPR forum. You are a guest here, and a very welcome one here. You are never going to win any arguement on this site especially one as sensitive as this. We all know that the vast vast majority of Chelsea fans are decent football people. But even you have to admit that the actions of some of your fans in recent weeks has been less than appropriate. It will be interesting to see how your fans react tomorrow, especially when Anton touches the ball. I hope for the sake of football and your club that they act with dignity and do not boo Anton.
